Best park around milwaukee?

I finally am going to have a car at school this semester in milwaukee and I want to do a bunch of skiing. Who has the best park within about an hour and half from the city?

Also, I haven't been able to find any friends at college who ski so if anyone would do me a huuuuge favor and be willing to kinda adopt me into their crew I would be so fucking grateful. I know I can eventually meet people on the hill but I just hate skiing by myself. I'm not incredible at skiing or anything but I like to have fun. PM me if you're interested at all.
 
yo your best bet one the BEST park would be tyrol basin. Cascade and sunburst are all really kill. I know from past experiences that the kids at cascade are dope riders and easy to befriend.

Although me and my guys ski mostly around the illinois area( raging buffalo, wilmot, alpine) we occasionally shred all the parks names above. We'll be glad to ride with you. Ill hit you up if when we go up there. I know it isn't easy to progress and shit when you ride alone, let alone being a tad bored.
 
Word man thanks a lot I really appreciate it. I was able to catch a ride out to sunburst one time with my school's ski team and it was pretty sick although a bit small. Yeah if you guys ever head up my way let me know that would be dope.
 
Where do you got to school? We had a huge gathering of skiers this fall in Milwaukee called the Midwest Ski Film Festival... even Wallisch was there.

The best park is the streets. Stuffs everywhere.
 
I go to marquette. Yeah I blew it this year and missed it but I'll be there next year for sure.

So this is could all be rumors but a friend of mine (snowboarder) who lives in Oconomowoc and rides down there every day, well a chick she knows (like I said it could be rumors) has been chosen to be on MTV Made to be turned into a snowboarder so apparently Olympia really upped their park and made it dope. I've never been there so I wouldn't know but if someone goes there let me know if it is good or not please!

For sure man. I'm kinda taking a sabbatical from facebook right now cuz I was fed up with the whole thing but if I decide to reactivate my page I'll hit you up for sure. Otherwise I'll pm you when I'm back in town I'm fuckin stoked for urban I haven't done any in like 3 years. You go to UWM or something? Or just a mil-town native?
 
Boston Native, living in Milwaukee for awhile now, hopping around schools currently enrolled at UWM.... going online this semester though so I can follow my dreams.
 
Good for you dude I love to hear stuff like that. I wish I had the option of doing online classes it would make my life so much easier.

WCTC represent! I heard that UWM has a great analrapist program. I'm pre-analrapist and looking for a good school to get into. Any info on the program.
 
I went to marquette, still living over on 15th St and kilbourn. i try to make it to sunburst at least once a week on some weeknight, and always lookin for good urban. PM me or facebook Max Neraasen. no internet at my place for now, but i try to check ns and fb every few days
 
1. Sunburst- alot better than last year

2. Alpine- flat but just got alot of park money. havent seen it this year

3.Cascade- nothing but rails

4. Tyrol. would be number one but its more than a hour and a half from MKE
 
how far exactly is tyrol? like 2 hours? Thats a little too far for weekly visits but I'd definitely go check it out once or twice... the free flow slopestyle course looked dope
 
no offense but from what i sawlast year alpine was not that great ill see it sunday but cascade has lots of rails which is great but there jump park is picking up and unlike alpine you dont have to bomb the whole hill to hit a single jump but thats just me but definetly sunburst is number one
