What's the best thing about skiing in the midwest

I say almost nothing

and whats the best bump to ski at

The best thing is the hospitals make more money because the icy landings make more broken bones... accept at Spirit Mountain, which is the best place I've skied at.

marquette prob. has the best park... there isn't much room to work with but the jumps are big and have flow and there is a whole seperate rail park thats got some pretty sweet rails... i've skied spirit and it's pretty nice but they could make it 100 times better cause they have some much room there they can build some really big jumps but they don't and their landings are too flat they need steeper landings

 
When was the last time you skied at Spirit? Cause there freakin awesome this year. I've never skied out of Minnesota so I don't know where Marquette is but I guess it would be sick too. Next year I'll have to get over there.

no no no, your all wrong, the best thing about the midwest is that you can get as good as heavily sponsored skiers and never even get considered for a sponsorship. Which isnt the cool part but then you go out west, womp everybody in their local comps and feel real cool. Of course then you have to come back here and get t-shirts for placing in a comp haha

however, on another side (of competiing) it's bad. for example i can throw many of the same tricks that they do, except off a super tiny jump. when a 50+ foot table is put in front of me, i usually can't handle it.

big fucking jumps are sweet like 60-80 feet(wish they were bigger sometimes), you throw something off them and you feel like your going to die then you stick it and your like fuck yeah

went there two weeks ago and it sucked hot dick. you couldnt get enough speed, the tables where short and the landing where too steep and icy. fuck it.

none of the landings are steep or icy, well maybe icy now but thats cause sleet sucks but this is the last weekend its open hopefully tomorrow is nice

mommy, there is no way that the tables were too short becuz every table is a double groomer width with too sides, a samll side and a large side, the small sides of the tables are maybe 20 feet or less and the large sides are 35 thru 40, second steep landings are the shit, third you said it was slow and icy?... enough said

well im sorry you didnt enjoy your expeirence at marquette mountain, come next year it will be alot different

the park there is the shit when i was up there at the end of march it had snowed 6 inchs of wet snow so the park was slow but that was understandable due to the wet snow the next day it was 6 inchs of dry snow park was the shit after they groomed everything hats off to STU and tim and the boys up there.

 
is there a birdge between upper and lower michigan? cuz that would suck to have to drive all the way around lake michigan just to get there

the trails where slow, but the landing of the jumps where icey. fucking idiots. trying to debate me. the landings where TOO fucking steep, like 75 degrees down. its was towards the very end of the seasons, and thats probably the reason why it sucked.
