Best Mtn. for Spring Skiing?

I'm planning a possible trip out West for the end of the season (mid-late April) and I'm wondering which mountains will still have some decent pow stashes. I heard Mammoth is great in April but the logistics of getting there seem impossible taking a commercial airline from the East Coast (accessibility is also a factor here). If anyone has experience with West Coast Spring skiing, share your brain cells plz.

Save the trip for next year man, at least if you are looking to ski any canadian mountains.

Maybe, but there are mad discounts in April at some mtns. and even plane tickets are cheaper since there are no holidays.

Hood is kinda the obvious option for park I'd say and their spring pass is an extreme bargain at $99. A-Basin is also a ton of fun. There's always people hanging out on the beach and the upper east wall is usually open which has some great big mountain type lines and the best terrain in the i-70 corridor.

Wait a second... I mean don't go to A-basin, i-70 ski resorts suck.
