Best mp3 player?

I need a new mp3 player, want it to be a touch screen, 8-16 gigs. I'm not very big on apps and that shit, but wouldn't mind wi-fi. Really looking for good sound and video quality. Also it'd be nice to have good battery life. I was thinking maybe an ipod touch but i've heard they don't have the best sound quality. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

zune hd fits your description.

check amazon or newegg, they just lowered their prices.

i had a samsung p3 for a little over 2 years and loved it. the headphone jack is fucked up though now so i cant listen to it without holding the wire in the perfect postion the entire time.

the sound quality on the itouch isn't any better or worse than any other mp3 player. it all depends on your headphones and the bitrate of your songs. 320kbps AAC songs are going to sound identical on the itouch and the zune hd if you use the same headphones

get the itouch. the wifi browsing is amazing and the touch screen is more responsive than any other touchscreen out there. not to mention the great video quality and the flash memory (which means it won't fail or break like hard drive mp3 players)

the zune hd is pretty nice and has flash memory too but you won't be disappointed with the ipod touch

app. and remember, this is wifi. meaning unless your in the city connection hopping or standing relatively close to someones house, your probably not going to get on the internet

this, and i would just like to say that i do not like when people call the ipod touch an itouch. you dont call an ipod nano an inano, just a nano, or an ipod shuffle an ishuffle, you just say shuffle.
just a little pet peeve of mine, but i would recommend a touch.

zune hd will not dissapoint. plus if your a big stage vu downloader like me you can output 720p videos onto tvs.

Sansa Clip, you can't beat it for the price. Really good sound, yeah earphones and mp3 bitrate matter, but so does the player its self. It's small, light, has screen, and manual EQ, and just the basics, no picture or video support. Kind of cheap looking but does the job.

peace
