what is the best mountain in utah because i have to choose where to go for my dads birthday and i dont no what mountainis the best in terms of powder and best snow.
for epic powder its alta, for no lift lines and almost as good powder its solitude, for ok powder and a bit of park its snowbird, for just park its park city
canyons was fun yesterday with the fresh powder on top of 9990. I like canyons but there are long flat outruns to all their steeps which get annoying. BC at 9990 area is sick too but avy danger has been high
how will snowbird and alta be this week? I'm heading out there and it's supposed to snow all week, will it be crowded at all? Hopefully theres plenty of pow to be had
Its been chest deep at Powder mountain the last four days and its snowing there again right now, uber light snow, not as steep as the bird, but Powder has the best vibe of all the mountains in my opinion
dont go to breck unless you only want park, but if thats your thing they got a mega sick park. I've never skied keystone, does it have more cliffs and lines cuz breck has none
Snowbird is so much fucking better then alta.. Alta is old.. alta does have sick stuff and great snow but snowbird has the best lines and i think it is a little steeper..
i thought brighton was really sick. everyone told me it sucked there but i liked it a lot. they didn't have crazy terrain there but it was still pretty good and there were no lines and the fresh snow lasted all day whereas snowbird gets tracked out in about 11 minutes. I want to try solitude too. but alta and snowbird are still the shit.
park city for park, alta for powder.... but both will be closing on monday the 13th
not sure when the big cottonwood resorts close.
the bird will be open till sometime in july and you can get plenty of big mountain and powder there. they have a small park and a super pipe buts its pretty beat.
