so far my main candidates are granite peak and white cap mountain.

my and some of my friends are going on a ski trip this winter and are wondering where would be the best place. we all ski park and we would also like a wee bit of pow.

any suggestions?

bohemia for cliffs and pow. they get like 250inches of lake affect a year. if not mroe. for park marquette, cascade has a great park. they are some places in MN that are up there too.

wausa, WI, its relativitly int he middle of WI. 750 ft of vert, decent terrian, fun place, park has improved a lot.

how has no one said welch village yet?? 360ft vertical, 50 trails and 45inch of snow annually

i live near granite and go there all the time.. i go to school near whitecap, so i go there. but i say if you are going to be in the whitecap area, you are better going to the Indianhead-Powderhorn-Blackjack hills, especially if you want a park. Whitecap doesnt have a park at all.

Bohemia is where i ski most, closest thing i can get to skiing a real mountain, and I love the place..
