Best lens for overcast/cloudy days?

I have crowbars and I have a Gold Iridium lens for bright days, but I don't know what to get for mad cloudy days. I was thinking either HI Yellow, HI Persimmon, or Pink Iridium but I wasn't sure what the best one is. What are your guys opinions? Help me out!
 
ive got the vr28,fire iridium ,hi yellow, and pink iridium.

hi yello is good for mad cloudy days, but if the sun breaks, your fucked.

pink iridium is a pretty good bridge between the superbright-superflatlight lenses.

at all costs avoid anything with the word persimmon in it, they are terrible.

balls, i was thinking about going with the HI Persimmon but they're really that bad? They seemed legit, but I'll take your word for it. So the lowest risk/best option would be Pink Iridium? Cuz I don't wanna be fucked if the sun comes out. how's the VR28?
 
No, the HI Yellow is the bad one if the sun comes out. HI Persimmon is awesome. I use these lenses whenever it's snowing or overcast. They're great, but if the sun comes out, they still have enough tint and glare reduction to protect your eyes. HI Yellow are really only good for super intense storm days or night riding. IMO, you won't be happy with Pink Iridium if it's truly overcast out; not enough contrast in my experience. Plus, HI Persimmon lenses are generally easier to find than Pink Iridium.
 
So I guess its a toss up between Pink Iridium and HI Persimmon. How bout a poll? Regard all other things, price, availability, whatever, which is the better cloudy lens between these two? Both of them seem like great options, so I just can't decide.
 
Hi yellow is the best by far for cloudy and low light conditions. But yeah when the sun comes out it blows. pink irdium would be my choice if you still want some sun protection

and ive never changed a lens in my life. i have one lens for night, sunny days, overcast days and whatever else kinda days there are
 
hi yellow ftw on overcast days that you no the sun. Pink iridium for days that are iffy. These are with oakley though. Hands down i think they make the best lenses
 
yea man, definately go with the pink iridium.

vr28 is good on sunny days, it can still preform on cloudy/graybird days, but you lose some of the depth, so random holes are invisible is what im saying. i vote pink irid, its good in anything.
 
I rock the Fire Iridium until 2-3PM then go to the Hi Yellow;

It really brings the detail out of the snow the same way the Fire Iridiums do when its wicked bright.

For overcast days the only option is Hi Yelllow

 
same. ive got the blue spy ones on my soldiers. sick for everything. and its kinda cool that you can see through them easily durring the day but you cant see through them at night at all (looking for someone elses perspective, meaning you cant see my eyes)
 
best 3 lense quiver: fire, pink irid, h.i. yellow

best 2 lense setup: fire, h.i. yellow

best overall lense: pink irid.
 
ya the ones i have are slighty mirrored and i can see through them cleary during cloudy days. it really handy to not have to change them everytime theres a change in weather
