Best Lax heads

Clutch

I play defense, best head i've ever had so i got another, and will keep getting them. i like the pinch, they could be stronger, but just a great feel.
 
^^ why would u have a clutch if u play defense ? i work at a lax shop and i get a 40% discount so i been goin crazY .. right now i got a evo 2.0, xcal, clutch, razer 2.0, and viper ... i live my evo and clutch
 
im down with warrior. always have beeni got an evo pro and razer 2.0 and a blade 2.0 for faceoffs. love em. but they break like twigs

i absolutely loved my clutch... until my brother broke it. i'm using an stx primer right now and its not too bad either. i also really liked my stx profile.
 
what position do you play and what do you look for in a head? i played d and loved the revo pro. light, but stiff enough
 
I'm using a proton power right now and its a pretty good head. Only complaint I have about it is that there are only two bottom holes so its kinda hard to string a trad or custom pocket in em.
Other than that though my other favorite heads would probably include:

Side Note: Any of Warrior's "Pro" heads are absolutely horrible.
 
I play attack by the way. Right now I have the evo pro, and I think it's ok. Iv'e heard the main reason people don't like the helix is they can't string it because of it's shape. I have another person on my team who has a helix, and strung it beautifully, it throws perfectly, every time.

played with one for all of middle school and freshmen year then once the magic of the evo pro touched me, oh god i raped the net.... WAY too fragile tho, ive broken 3 in 2 years, but its been under warranty luckily. But just be careful with any warrior head your playin with, the helix is right at the minimum requirements fer a head, mad kids have gotten their sticks thrown outta the game for failing the refs check. Everyone should just ask the ref to check your stick before the game, if they do, they cant check it again. It helps a lot cuz if your taking faces or just during play, your head sometimes gets warped/too pinched. Illegal sticks are just a retarted penalty dont hurt your team like that, its cost my team so many games.
 
the original blade was my favorite since they dont make that anymore i have like the proton power and the torque. all three are light and have a tight throat and flexible, and since i am a fogo who pinches and pops those are important qualities in the sticks i use
 
I play D and right now im using a diesel, which i love. I love the feel of torques but way to flimsy for D, i broke 2 in one season, so then i got a revo 2.0 that was nice (a little on the heavy side) but that turned into wet noodle half way through the season so I have a diesel and absolutely love it.

Not on the topic of heads but i got 4 old warrior c405 poles in an arrangement of colors, best pole ever never break never dent look fly. Anyone else play in the MIAA
 
Everytime one of these threads pop up, i always say razor 2.0.

Ive been playing for 9 years now and play in college, it is by far the best head ive ever used. O ya i play attack.
 
Oh yeah almost forgot the original evo. Sick head.
BTW I play attack as well. I currently use a dyed p2 with a pita pocket in it and 4 weaved hockeys in it. Amazing hold.
 
When I played in high school I always rocked an OG proton, and senior year I copped a razer pro or razer 2.0 or something that I still use
 
dude, i rock and love the clutch. It is flimsy, i will give you that, i would love like a clutch stiffi version (you know, reinforced). but i love the pinch and how it throws. i had a dirty mid-high bag pocket on it. it is sooo perfect.

I agree i am not a fan of the helix either and the proton power is sick....i prefer the clutch though over any head, its not to pinched but its pinched enough if you know what i mean, i know everyone has it but its a good head
 
Deffinatly the Xcaliber or maybe original proton but i play defence so i am sure that may not rock your boat if your a middie or an attackman
