Best jumping ski ?

hello all i was wondering what would be the best ski for jumps, cause that s what i mainly do.

i ride 99 % park and in the park i almost only jump, on decent jumps 40-60 feet.

i m 5 5 and 100 so im pretty light and wouldnt need a ski that would be stiff as fuck. just light skis :)

i was thinking about symetrical skis for good switch carving before / on the jump.

i was thinking about moment reno jibs, volk wall, but i was afraid they would be too stiff. and in non symetrical the jon olsson pro must be a pretty good ski cause well.. you know.. jon s a jumper :)

what you think ?

reno jibs are supposed to be a really good ski with good pop but they ahve a durability issue buttt they have amazing insurance and will give u free pairs if they break

^^^ same here I just rode my new walls today (169cm) and they were great in the park. In fact, they were awesome all around, great out of park too.

I had narrowed it down to the line chronics and wall and decided to go with the walls. Im happy with my choice

line 1260s in 176

hah, you'd kill it with those at 100 lbs

ok but seriously just hit up ebay and get a pair of THalls, really cheap, and quality park ski, spin great, poppy, soft, cool lookin, its a good choice

or if ur not a dick like me and want to go to a shop and not drop too much dough then im not the person to be givin advice

07 Atomic triplets

very soft !

really light!!!

fatty edge !!

and pretty duarable other then if you get a bad pair (like my bro did) then you will have problems with the dubble edge in the base under your foot and the base folds up, but he got a new pair for free!

pipe cleaners fast base poppy and light=great jumping ski but dont do rails on them the base is soft

your dumb go play in traffic, atomic can suck my left nut. Worst skis ever.

Volkl wall, scratch ghetto, line 1260's and more would all be great choices for you. (GO WITH ROSSI)

oh wow i havent heard that come back in fuckin years (sarcasim) ... shit good try tho.

good thing this kid is looking for a light and soft ski (witch atomic triplets are indeed)

i dont ski them, or like atomic, so fuck off you little bitch. rossi can go can suck BOTH of my nuts becus ive heard some shit that goes down with them (bad things)

so you should go maybe be on some little girls sight. not newschoolers, maybe in a few years you will gain stregth in being a legit member.

bitch!

holy fuck your skinny!! im 5'2" and i weight 113( but i work out alot) some people are just naturally skinnier i guess.

Ive heard jpros are fuking ILL on jumps

Dude theres no such thing as a jumping ski. Theres a park ski. Are you like one of those racer big jumper flyer people?

i hadnt thought of pipe cleaners. well they might be a good idea.

how soft are they ?

i tried the rossi ghto last summer, and i tought they were a bit stiff, but they were in 181, so they were a bit long for me.

i ve thought about line invader in 171. maybe because i m light they wont be too noodley.

too bad the JO have such a crappy look. are the mojo 80 much softer ??

thx for your help :)

your an idiot he is looking for a ski to do park jumps so yes a park ski but he wont be doing rails so threrefor a jumping ski

word, but also im 5 6 120 and i got only size 161 invaders, and they are super short, but whatever so for sure get the invaders, anthems, or reno jibs in size 171

^ i concur to that. i'm 5'6/5'7 125-ish. light, poppy, stable, and holds edge

but what i came in here to suggest were these

skijumpHD_240.gif

arent the chronic gonna be too stiff for me ??

so it leaves me with PC, invaders, or j o pro, cause i didnt like the ghto so much.

thx for your help.

any other opinions are welcomed !!

chronics are defenitely on the stiffer side but still an awesome ski for park hits since the aren't gonna wash out on back seat landings and they have alot of pop. from what i've read i'd say you'd be happy with vaders or jo pros, reno jibs sound like a good option too but i don't know much about them...

im sticking to the liberty kgb

it doesnt' hold together to great but it's the most fun ski i've ever had. i love it

I have to say for a skinny stick it performs unbelievably...I demoed these and they were the right stiffness and also incredibly light and landing switch was steeze cause the tips are softer than the tails i think...

i think i'm going with a bibby pro or chopstick for next year...both rockered and symmetrical..fat for bomber landings and stiff for pop..still you'll get more height and length off of a traditional cambered ski like a Wall or Invader or ollson pro..

If your not gonna do rails and only hit big booters, get something fat in the waist, sorta soft and still shortish...

Like Lines SFB, Elizabeth, VCT.....

The ghettos are not a stiff ski

They are a soft to mid flex

the JO are softer than the mojo 80s i believe

pipe cleaners are stiffer than ghettos

invaders might be ok for your size but they would NOT be my first choice for a jump ski
