buy a pair of fucking sennheisers. beats have pretty good sound quality, but you can get a pair of equal or better sennheisers for like half the price. beats are dumb.

also, that site has other good suggestions if you navigate around, and can actually show you the sound curve of the bud, which has everything to do with "best" (there isn't a "best," it's your listening preference, which for your estimated demographic, I'm going to predict is loads of bass with crispy highs.)

Right now I'm using a pair of Klipsch Image S4s, best earphones I've had without a doubt. Amazing sound quality, they come with a really nice case, feel good in your ears, and they have a better warranty than skullcandy to boot; break them and you've got 2 years after the purchase date to exchange them over the counter. Can't go wrong IMO. I've replaced my Shure studio headphones with them because they just sound and feel so great.

Shure 535s, if they fit. its a triple driver balanced armature in-ear monitor that'll blow your fucking tits off with quality.

but since you probably just listen to the woo tang klan and skrillliiix, I'm actually gonna say beats by dre or anything skullcandy makes, since they emphasize bass over quality which is probably what you're looking for.

i have the vmode faze. they were 55 bucks and still are brand new from 2 years ago

YES! I just got a pair, I love them! Great sound and the bass doesn't overpower everything else in the sounds like Beats In ears

Those are the most autistic piece of shit head phones anyone could possibly own. srsly. fuck em.

bose triports. you can get a pair on ebay for about $100.

sound amazing but the little rubber tips that fall off and get lost are annoying as fuck.

i also used a pair of vmoda vibes. theyre also around 100.

sound as good as the bose, but the wires need to be a thicker guage, mine ripped right at the bud.

beats if youre and idiot and want to spend twice as much on a headphone thats just as good as the rest.

This statement could apply to every post in this thread.

I dont get why someone would spend over $50 on ear buds. I mean, they're fucking earbuds.

If you are producing or mixing music and you need the fidelity, of course spend the money and get some nice over-ears. I just don't get it for buds.

I have something similar to these Sonys that I purchased for ~$20. They sound just as good Bose and Senheisser buds that my parents have, they don't disintegrate like SkullCandy, and they aren't over-hyped garbage like Beats.

For live-music applications, such as drumming or djing, in-ear monitors blow many over-ear phones out of the water. especially when fitted properly. They provide better isolation so you can run them at lower volumes, preserving your hearing for the long run, instead of using cheap headphones which you have to crank up, damaging your hearing permanently. The other option would be to get custom molded attenuators and then use monitors or over-ear phones, but why do that when you can just get in-ear monitors that provide great sound anyway?

fuckin love my bose in ear buds. they have a little button under your right ear on the chord to skip song / pause which is a nice perk. they also sound perfect. i think they are like $80. well worth it.

i know you said under 100$ but i really recomend the monster turbines. they are 170 i think with the volume control and they are awesome. well worth the extra money for sure

I bought some from this company, Munitio and they are amazing. So comfortable and such good sound quality as well as bass. Mine were more than 100 for sure, but they do have some cheaper ones that I bet would be sweet as well. These are the ones I got...

don't buy skullcandies because they suck balls, even the most expensive ones. don't buy beats because most of the people who use them are tools and the sound quality isn't really that good. bose, shure, sennheiser all make good ones, especially if you're willing to drop a good amount of dough on them and will take good care of them.
