Best HD camera under $600

so after a season of shooting great video being hindered by terrible quality after being uploaded, im in the market for a new HD camera. somehting thats easy to use, and has good hd quality. im looking to spend up to $600 so if you have any suggestions please let me know..

p.s. whats a good simple program, that is good for editing hd quality?

he did ask for a good editing program....

But either an HV20/30/40 or a gopro would be the best for quality IMO, just depends on what you want to do. Just fooling around and capturing the day with the buddies: gopro. If you want to get into filming and how everything works, get more manual control: HV20/30/40

ill sell you my hv20 with a telephoto lens, wide angle lens, homemade handle, extra battery pack and tripod for $600.
