Champion, Comeback Kid, Dispute, Terror, Stay Gold, GOSPEL , from ashes Rises, 100 demons, american nightmare

Especially Champion, it brings the house down.

Champion is in the veign of punk based hardcore. As in all the lyrics are clear.

If you like hardcore with clear lyrics and like punk.

Rites of Spring(first emo band)

The hated

gorilla buiscuits

youth of today

I live in the northwest and like hardcore. Of course i know stay gold, plus from Seattle to here, there is no edge/non edge hate, so that is cool

ohh eww trivium thats is some shitty music right there

i listen to throwdown in the park

anything with good beats like that

a little Champion every so often is good to

straightedge has to be one of the lamest things out there. its like people base their image after not doing drugs, it doesnt make sense, if you dont do drugs fine, if you really hate drug users join the DEA

Are you serious???????

If you are then it is fun, the only time shit gets intense is when some idiots starts blazing or drinking at a show in a community centre. But that is not because it is liqour, that is because there is only 4 places or so where hardcore shows happen now. Because of that fact.

But otherwise it is pretty cool. Just more love.

i dont normally listen to metal when i ride its normally like rjd2 and dj shadow oriented stuff. but trivium, metallica, megadeth and lamb of god are good in my opinion. lamb of god just makes me not give a fuck about my nerves and go for something even if im gona hurt myself. im just scared to break my player.

I would call most of those bands like as i lay dying; metalcore. But it doesn't mean they are fake.

Shai Hulud is so solid.

It isn't about not doing drugs, it is about respect for yourself, and not hurting yourself. Believing in bettering yourself without hurting others.

I'm not straight edge btw.

Around the northwest most of the edge kids don't do that. Well the ones who actually like real hardcore and contribute to the scene.

At parties i always draw a X on my left hand and then walk around with a beer in the right. It confuses people, i just tell them that the left hand is straightedge and the right one isnt.

yeah it usualy makes kids laugh

i reliezed that i didnt really post anything serious in this thread, so my favorite "hardcore" to ski the park with would have to be

Through the Eyes of the Dead

Winter Solstice

7 Angels 7 Plauges

Botch

Between The Buried And Me

NICE

in a few days im seeing a brandy bailey memorial show

Comback Kid, Figure Four, Champion, Blue Monday, and SINKING SHIPS

i'm not saying "old school is the only way to go" "new music sucks" or anything like that. a lot of the bands that were listed, while good, are not in the hardcore genre. thats all.

that is true, and i myself prefer old hardcore, 80s emocore, and 90s emo violence. But that does not make it "fake"

I turned off american nightmare to hear that. i now want to kill myself. that is in no way hardcore. putting the words "carry on" in your thread seriously mislead me. your friends should just kill themselves now. being christian im sure they will go to heaven. right. terrible. terrible. terrible.

all out war, terror, and MPB are basically the best shit to listen to if you want to get amped.

but if you want to really get pumped just listen to darkest hour (a la so sedated so secure)

personally i can't listen to american nightmare without wanting to roll over and die. background music is the most amazing and most saddening album... ever.
