Best guitar solo

Just curious to what some people think. My opinion is Guns N Roses November Rain, it just has so much passion in it.

You will crash and burn before you fly

Definately Jimi Hendrix's Star Spangled Banner at Woodstock '69.

We were discussing the top five greatest guitarists in class one time and some guy said Lenny Kravitz! We are pretty sure that kid is gay now.

eric clapton and keith richards are both awesome . . . bruce springsteen and miami steve in the live version of murder incoporated from NYC is incredible

Joe: 'Red, do something with your life'

Red: 'I do. I smoke weed all the time. And I took a shower earlier. What am I? A fucking superhero? That's plenty.'

That November rain solo is definetely the best around, but I'd say just about any Ben Harper solo, like #3 or something is tight as well.

Hi, will you help me find my lost puppy? I think he went into this cheap motel room across the street.

HAHA, dude last night I saw Iron Butterfly live and man in-a-gadda-da-veda was amazing. But they were playing with Vanilla Fudge and they were alot better. That was a really cool show...no matter that everyone there was about 30 years older then me...

hmm I suggest you all download maggot brain by Eddie Hazel it's a 10 minute guitar solo.

He wrote it after he saw his brother who had overdosed in his apartment. so when he saw him his head had maggots in it... so it's like his decent into anger then into sadness. there are only about five sentences in the whole song because there's 'spoken verse' at the start. It's one of the few solos that I find can give you the emotion that he feels.

'Never underestimate the power of the handicapped'

Definitly anything by Parliment, Funkadelic, Parliment-Funkadelic, P-Funk, or the P-Funk allstars or anyother incarnation of what was Parliment-Funkadelic.

The promise of a better day. The promise of a greater hope. The promise of a new tommorow. This particular aura can be found in the gaze of a beautiful girl. In her smile, and in her soul, and in the way she makes every rotten little thing about the world seem like it's going to be okay.' - Taking Back Sunday

the solo in only in dreams by weezer is also extremely awesome! dowload it

Yeah clapton and richard are really great but I don't think they have had the best solos ever. Well I love clapton, espically his blues, he rips it up their and richard was with the stones, sympathy for the devil had a great solo. I don't know now, they are like, I dunno GOD. Every one of them.

robbie Robertson from The Band is damn good, but i agree, just about any Allman Brothers Band song wins

'He got fired? What did he do?'

'He jumped off of the roof again'

I'm not sure about solo but Freebird is one of the tops. As for best guitarist I would give it to Dave Gilmour.
