Best Graphic Designer for Mac

hey like i said in my other thread about websites i just got a new macbook pro and was wondering what the best graphic design software is for macs. i just started looking into them and illustrator sounds nice, but i really have no idea about this market. anyone have personal favorites, or ideas about which ones are the best??? thanks

Wait till creative suite goes to universal binary. Then it'll run natively on your Mactel and you'll be good to go.

It's going to be a while before its in universal binary. Photoshop for u.b. wont be released until first or second quarter 2007 I heard.
