personally, i think arcteryx makes some fine shit and same with burton...also EMS and north face have to be up there...any other suggestions?

MEC is only canada, but it has wicked stuff

Helley Hansen is also amazing for jackets and snowpants and any other kind of fowl weather gear you can imagine

Best tech outerwear is made by sessions. Helly hansen is nice till its no longer waterproof(one day of whistler weather will do it to 3-ply helly stuff). As for casual, Jib Culture. nuff said.

I've tried a lot of gear and as a price/performance basis goes the worst I've used has been NFA the best has been ripzone trilogy.
 
spyder deff makes some solid gear that you can count on, i just got some sessions stuff, seems pretty legit..
 
i agree with oakley but not 686 i boguht a 686 jacket this year and it gets soaked so easily. and it stays really damp even after its drying out for a while.
