i know that there's the salomon 1080's and i've seen some other stuff like the lange sft 80's for jib but what are the best boots for skiers who reside mostly in the backcountry and park?
Check out the ATOMIC TWEAK boots. It has shock absorbers under the heel and in the cuff hinge, plus a 15% wider toe for your foot to expand on landings. Check em out ...
i have xwave 6's, which are just slightly softer than the 1080s, and they are BY FAR the most comfortable boots i've ever worn, and i've skied for 20 years....i put a heel pad in there, and they do just fine
its whatever fits your feet the best. go around to different shops and try a ton of boots on, you want a pair that has a good amount of flex if your riding the park a lot, like around 160 flex or so.
