go to download.com there is some free stuff in there .. i have used wax 2.0 before .. its not horiblle for free software

All the programs above are shit I would totally recommend Windows movie maker it has some awesome effects and titles one of my personal favs is the title with the spinning newspaper, it's used in all the best edits

if you actually want something that is free and not just privated, virtual dub is a legit program... Kinda advanced for someone who doesnt really know what they are doing tho
