best flip trick to learn at first? i know this sounds gaper but im can spin realy good and steeze in pipe

but in general im not sure how but trick tips on corking spins?

i tried a back flip twice both time landed on my noses both times i have yet to try it in to powder though so i dont know.

but i can do Lincoln loops and misty flips on the ground and font flips no prob on tramps i know i can do it on the ground but for some reasons mistys seem less scary on ground.

thanks karma for a realy good trick tip or sugestion

i would work on loops if i were youyou cant land on your face, pretty natural trick, you can turn it into a flair in the pipe, overall a good choice

front flips are not very scary, your head passes realy fast and worst that happens is you roll on your back

i cant do a lincon loop to save my life

try a frontflip off a knuckle or really practice backflips on a tramp and try one at the end of a halfpipe like they do at windells

the only thing about front flips is you gotta get your "pop" right... if you dont initiate the flip correctly you wont make it around. i didnt think lincoln's were too scary... just different

frontflip or lincoln loop. try jumping off something into snow (whenever we get it) and see what you can do for either of them

frontflip crashes will hurt less since (unless you do a swan dive into the snow) your momentum will let you just roll out of it.

just huck a backflip haha. thats what i did, just set up a jump with a ton of powdery goodness in the landing and just huck and keep looking haah. I fell like 3 times and caught my tips on the landing and it didnt even hurt that bad

first time i tried a back.................................................................i fell on my face

or you can do what i did and break your leg first time trying it... make sure you know what you're doing trying flips, i know it sounds corny and cheesey but i wish i had lknown exactly what i was doing and learned it the right way. i wouldnt have sat in a cast for a few months and still be recovering as we speak from a march injury

yup me too. and to the guy who said theyre harder to land than fronts, you spot your landing way earlier in a backflip than a front. frontflips are good if you have good air sense though

Frontflip. Find a 15-20 foot jump and just commit and throw it like you'd do on a trampoline or diving board. You'll land it the first time.

more like smashed tails. i thought i had that shit too! i saw the second jump front of me then, i blacked out and then i wake up on the ground with a broken leg. shit was scary

I really want to try a linc for my first invert. I feel like they would be easy. I can almost do double lincs on the tramp. I do them off my tramp and everything but I haven't committed to doing them on snow. I was contemplating doing one off a jump I made in my yard.

i started with the frontflip, cause it wasnt that scary. Then i did a lincoln loop, which i later turned into a rodeo. And last i did the backflip, i didnt really care to much about the backflip cause i didnt need it in my "bag" of tricks so that was the one i did last.

my first invert was a backflip...very easy trick to do....if you have it on tramp you have it on snow

my first was an accidental rodeo 5 i threw a lincoln and the spin just kinda happened but i stomped that shit and pretended like i meant to. do lincoln first for sure, theyre easy as fuck once you do it once backies are too but you have to sack up to try it fronts ive done off of knolls never off a big jump but theyre not too bad, its all about commitment

Somehow I think Lincoln loops are easier, I have this feeling that the part of my ski in front of my bindings disrupt a 'proper' start of the frontflip rotation, guess thats just me...

I have a bad habit of over rotating front flips...and over rotating a front hurts bad enough to get in the back of your head and destroy your confidence for a while...I'd go for the back first...

i learned backflips first were pretty easy, just keep your head looking up until u feel ur feet come around then extend the legs to grab the landing.

corks. are so much easier than i thought, i just got them down last year and landed a 540cork on the first try. i was actually trying to do a bio and messed up.

the way I cork is: as i approach the end of the jump i take my right arm and "punch" down and across my body towards my boot. also makes it easier to grab. your body naturally corks off access. in the same day i landed a cork 7 and cork 5 off a 25ft gap. was a lot easier than i though, and also i found I can spin faster or more rotation wise doing this off jumps i could normally only 5. hope this helps some

i think lincoln loops are the easiest. followed by back flips. i cant front flip to save my life cuz you are blind a lot of the time. but that is just me, most people say front flips are easiest.... do whatever you are most comfortable with on the tramp and you will be fine.

I would say backflip first. All you have to remember is to pointing your tips up and go into it thinking you are going to stomp the shit out of it and you will rotate around. The biggest difference between doing flips on tramps or whatever to off a jump is how your skis are going to pop. For a backflip just cruz off and point your tips like mentioned earlier, front flips you can increase you pop off your tail to help bring your feet around but be carefull with that to much and well just be carefull, lincoln's are the easiest as far as take off goes but you have to just let your body follow your head (eyes) for sure if you huck a lincoln it will just turn into something strange and you might find yourself waking up at the bottom of the run. Hope this helps a little take your time with it and start small and you will be stomping all of them before you know it!

backflips are easy sugar once you learn them

work on fronts and lincolns like people said

even though i hate tramp skis, maybe try that because most of it is being comfortable doing being upside down with skis and boots on

my first and only inverted trick was a lincoln. it just seems the most natural to me and the easiest.

that is absolutely the best way, pick a softer day though. you can learn rodeos this way too, and even loops.

backflips are really the easiest i got mine first try off of a 20 foot kicker ive only fallen once and it didnt even hurt

Misty's aren't bad to start with. I tried a few at the end of last season and if you spot your landing right, your body falls right where it should on the landing.

I think frontflips are easier, I hate catching my tips on the knuckle when I do backflips, flatspins and frontflips are much better IMO...
