i need a good editing program for oooo.. about $200 or less (or a torrent URL). I need something simpl-ish, but i do have some experience under the belt. +k for good responses
adobe premiere and sony vegas. i personally have never used adobe, but lots of people do, i own vegas, and i love it. not to hard to use, but not simple like windows. i dont think they make a torrent for the new vegas, 9 ...correct me if im wrong please
definately adobe premeir over sony vegas. its not that complicated I dont get people who freak out at complex editing softwear, take the time to learn, its worth the trouble at the begining
i was just about to threadjack too with the same question. Im just about to get a mac and i was wondering if Final Cut Express 4 was any good? Its 200$ so would that be worth it to get it for just ski edits? Or should i just stick with iMovie.
150 on amazon. Its a really good program, far superior to imovie.
It all depends on how advanced you want to get. But you should probably stick with imovie if its just ski edits you plan on making.
Not much. It has some nice features like the image stabilizer, but nothing really strong as far as editing goes. I still have 06 but never use it. If you want to get into serious editing then without a doubt go with fce, FAR more power than imovie. Its practically final cut pro without all the extra programs like motion.I use pro at school and express at home, practically no difference.
And my advice to the other person is give imove a go before buying fce. You may not feel the need for the upgrade.
alright.. thanks for the help everyone... i just got sony vegas 9.0 pro downloaded on my computer.. a tip from a real nice NS member led me to directions on how to get it for free... and it works!.. now i just gotta learn all of the ridiculous editing software and i'll be on my way.
