Best editing software for edit

apparently its free to download.

i have never been a mac user, and adobe premier was never user friendly for me.

all things come with time, being an adobe pro would get you jobs with ease

DaVinci Resolve is free and a great editing tool.

Adobe Premiere Pro is also top tier, but paid. If you're a student you should be able to get it free from school.

Apple iMovie is free on Mac and works just fine for basic cuts. The next step up is Apple Final Cut Pro, only $300 one time payment. Think iMovie but on steroids.

There are also plenty of free apps on the App Store that are pretty great editing tools; see CapCut/iMovie

For legally obtained adobe products just look up: monkrus

i have used his stuff for 3+ years with no issue s

examples of your productions using davinci?^

I've only used it a couple times for color correction, I use Premiere. For someone who doesn't want to pay for their software, resolve is perfect.

cool beans ^ I havent exported anything out of resolve, but im close.

adobe premiere trial is free, and one month is $20... affordable post production...

i started using davinci resolve after a NS member pointed me to it. its free and pretty legit.

but its no sony vegas.

This. Some full time video production people have ditched Premiere for Resolve all together. For a free thing it is the best option for sure if you want to learn a professional platform and potentially get hired to do post production work in a setting where the company uses that software.

I saw this thread an instantly thought of pirating Sony Vegas 7 or whatever back in 2011

sony vegas is free. Otherwise, if u got $ or can find a way to get it free, then premiere is unbeatable imo. Luckily i get it free through my school

I used hitfilm express for the edits I used to make. It was free, and my editing needs were quite basic. Essentially just stringing clips together. No color correction or anything like that
