Best Ebay Strategy?

open one window fill out all the info... open another keep track of the time with one minute left open the 1st window and bid.

Keep you max bid low and then raise it in the last minute so he doesn't have time to enter multiple bids to get past it. That will of course backfire if he is willing to pay something ridiculous and has his max bid that high. But then at least he gets fucked.

if i really want the product..i usually raise the bid to see how the other person reacts, then when i know, bid accordingly in order to win..

usually put the highest im willing to pay in around 15-45 seconds left.

no way dude you totally screwed yourself on that one. You doubled the price by not waiting untill the last second. You got had.

haha i just bought that same LP at the record shop for 2.00 even now i know if i want to make 25 cents i can go on ebay

There's also an AIM thing which alerts you if someone bids higher than you. I've found it useful if I get outbid in the last hour or so.

the price is right taught me that when it comes to bidding on ebay, always bid increments, but add a couple cents like 12.03 or 12.53. everyone goes by quarter or 50 cent increments, but add a couple cents and you can win it just by a few cents. works well.

if i see an item i want, i wait til the last minute or 20 seconds bid once, so i don't let anyone else know that i'm watching it. then i just enter my max bid once and see how it goes.
