I have some Klipsch S4i in-ear headphones and they're pretty good. I also have a pair of Yurbuds "IronMan" edition sweat-resistant headphones that I got for only like $50 bucks to use at the gym and have no complaints about those either. Beats and Skullcandy suck.
Bose ie2's are dope. They have a 1 year warranty on them too. I'm on my third pair from the warranty from putting them through the wash too many times.
Personally I hate it when people talk shit on Skullcandy. Its not like I love mine or anything but they have a lifetime warranty so if they break, stop bitching, simply get a brand new pair of headphones. Best customer service there is too.
Shut up. He was making a point and giving a real explanation for a complaint. He gave a reason as to why Skullcandy's are shit (because they are). Not to mention, you were the one bitching in the first place.
what do you actually look for in a good set of headphones?? if i was to walk in a shop and pick a box off the shelf and read the specs, none of it would mean anything to me apart from the price tag.. i generally pay $70 avg and get what i feel is a nice pair.. so, NS, what exactly do i look for in terms of specs?
Monster turbines. They don't sound like shit when you listen to something other than pop and rap like beats do. They have like 3 different versions of it. Each one a step up from the other. The lower end ones that they make sound better than beats.
These are the best earbuds ive used. The sound is good, but the best part is the shape of the bud, it fits perfectly to your ear and cant be pushed in too far like most earbuds. They also stay in your ear when you're running/skiing
Vsonic vc02. I saw that chart about 2 months ago and nabbed a pair. Super solid headphones so far and got the highest ratings for earbuds under 100 bucks on the chart
I hate to say it but if you've been a user of the stock buds for a long time, then these are a wildly drastic improvement. Great bass improvement and the highs are a lot clearer. Way more comfortable and they leak less sound out to others. You still get what you pay for though and a higher end set of headphones will likely sound better yet.
Might as well chip in here. This list is probably one of the better ones because battery life is a constant issue for me. Bought the ActivateBX and have been happy.
