NEil Pearts fuckin sick, John Bonham was tight.

i dunno Keith Moons the reason drummers are crazy now, so i guess he wins

I'm sick of following my dreams, I'm just gonna ask where they're going and hook up with them later.

Without question? Danny Carey could easily challenge (and beat) him for the progressive rock drumming throne. But of course it's all a matter of taste. I like Danny's style more, but Neil is rediculous...so precise.

Right now, I think my favorite drumer is Daniel Erlandsson of Arch Enemy. That guy owns.

why is everyone saying dave g and travis b, lol in my opinion these guys are good, but they are no where near the greatest drummers of all time. they dont compete

The best drummer is the one in the recycled percussion. He is the world's fastest drummer and can do 20 drum strokes a second. Let's see you beat that.

You should listen to Tool. I'm not saying one is better than the other, their styles are totally different.

The song Aenima involves Danny playing triplets on each foot...123(right foot)123(leftfoot). Then listen to Ticks and Leeches off Lateralus...

Or maybe you already have heard all that and just like NP better, but just incase, haha.

dude last summer in august i'm watchin The Song Remains the Same, at about 3 in the morning, and i fell asleep, during No Quarter i think i could be wrong. I woke up and it was the solo in moby dick, and it freaked me out cos i was so out of it. thats a sick dsolo.

but Keith Moon is better

Quintus loves Thaida

Which Thaida?

One Eyed Thaida!

MUST BE Neil Peart, he is rediculous, listen to basically any RUSH and you will understand, amazingly complex timings and rythms are hard to compete with

also got to give props to john bonham- check out Good Times Bad Times, bonham is amazing in that and nick mason-he is so sweet

as far as the people saying grohl, i think he would go into the category of best all around musician. correct me if im wrong, but i believe on the first foo fighters album he did everything, drums, bass, guitar, vocals. then got the rest of the band to tour. also i know in nirvana originally he was the guitarist and vocalist while cobain was the drummer, and this later switched.

i think grohl is definately really good, but i dont think he is quite up there with the rest of the people listed here. this is why i think he is more of an all around musician.

'If she floats than she is not

A witch like we had thought'

'Like most babies smell like butter

his smell smelled like no other'

'She'll come back as fire, to burn all the liars,

And leave a blanket of ash on the ground.

i dont know alot about drums but the drummer from avenged sevenfold is pretty fucking awesome. and if u dont know them, check em out. they're like the best "newer" band out there as far as skill goes.

I ski at the crappiest hill ever...
