Why would someone down vote this? I just answered the question-- it isn't as if clamato isn't around in the states, it is everywhere--there's even clamato bud light, but I don't know anyone who drinks the stuff because most people I've talked to say it sounds gross.

it sounded disgusting to me as well for a long time, and then i tried a caesar. it changed my view on clamato, its really is good. it just adds that little bit of flavour that, in my mind, makes it better than a bloody mary.

next time you're out for a drink, ask for a caesar, it wont kill ya to try one out. i like them because they dont have nearly as much sugar as most cocktails so the hangover is usually non existent the next morning.
