BEST DAY EVER

so i'm pretty pumped, but i'll tell you the whole story.

I wake up at 5:30 in the morning for an orthopeadic appointment, when im there they do the standard check on my acl and mcl, and tell me its rock solid, this already excites me and hes like... you can go skiing...originally in august they told me that i was not going to be skiing at all this season so of course i was grinning ear to ear. So i was told to get a strength test before i go skiing just to make sure i have pretty equal strength in both legs.

so i ended up getting an appointmet that very day at 2... it went great and i got to pick up my car from the mechanic and i was skiing at 4:30... talk about a great day. I only skied for an hour and a half because i didn't want to over do it and im skiing tomorrow. Ive been waiting for this day since July when i got hurt, now ive never loved Bristol more.

oh and i forgot to add that my mom had bought me a season pass right after my doctors appt, and didnt tell me until after my test so now i can go all the time... super excited!

You're lucky, that would be the best news ever. I find out wednesday if I tore my ACL or MCL or hurt my meniscus, I've had conflicting opinions the past two weeks and haven't been allowed to ski with the possibility of needing surgery. MRI will let me know soon. Hope I'm lucky too.

i didnt go in the park, to avoid all temptations of fuckin myself over. But i did ride the lift cause i wanted to see the setup, and i only took a few runs last night so i wouldnt over do it for my first time out.
