Best crop of Superunknowns?

Basically what do you think is the best year of superunknown finalists. I think Superunknown VII...

Aidan Sheahan: filming w/ Matchstick

Austin Torvinen: filming w/ TSP

Alex Bellemare: filming w/ Level 1

Spencer Milblocker: filming w/ Level 1

Karl Fostvedt: filming w/ Poor Boyz

Chris Laker: steady on the comp scene

Clayton Vila: filming w/ TGR, Stept, & Poor Boyz

Sig Tveit: filming w/ Level 1

McRae Williams: steady on the comp scene

Logan Imlach: filming w/ Level 1

Tim McChesney: filming w/ Level 1

I'm not really familiar with the early superunknowns so this is definitely debatable

 
I'm not sure, I don't think so. Superunknown III also had mike riddle. So that lineup was pretty stacked. And Mike Clarke won it.
 
Damnnn such an incredible segment. I love C Van's rode 9 mute to japans, such ill style.
 
karl is with tsp to and mcrae is starting filming with stept to and tim mcchesney is with 4bi9 i think not 100 percent sure same with chris laker for 4bi9 no hatin just this group gets an insane amount of coverage
 
As I understood he decided to concentrate on his school/filming more than pro skier career? And he was really ill by the time he won superunknown. Had some bangers in realtime and was one of the first to start doing dub corks in comps.

Still consider he's got a more unique style on that dub 12 than many have today.

This year was sick there was a lot of finalists from Quebec and a bunch of dope skiers like Torvinen, Doan, Anton Jansson and others.
 
not just the best after winning superunknown, this is the best park segment ever.. so far ahead of his time. tricks, style whatever.. lss was the first skimovie i had and i miss my damn troublemaker´s haha
 
not to be pedantic but if you meant the best segment the year of winning SU.....im pretty sure vanular's segment in high 5 was the year he won superunknown. it was a good segment too from what i remember but yeah, not this^ one

As mentioned, Vanular was in High 5 after winning, which while it was good, wasn't on this level of good. If you want to say who had the best segment in their first year of filming with Level 1 (after winning Superunknown)...it's probably still Wallisch. It's hard to tell because of Realtime's format, but if took all of Wallisch's shots from those park shoots he clearly takes the cake. Between all the perfect landings and the burly shots (450 on to the gap to down box was HUGE...and it showed since only he and Delorme got shots on it and both took huge falls). I have to say, the single best winner all around is clearly Wallisch (multiple amazing segments, contest wins, and had probably the best Superunknown edit of all time).

As far as best crop of finalists...I'd say either the year in the OP or the year Vanular won, for reasons that have already been stated in this thread.
 
there needs to be a formal list of all the finalists and winners from each year online. i cant find shit on google
