Best concert

not at all.. it was put in there when it was bult in the 30;s i think... it was ment so that the floor was not hard as maple wood. and it had some give so you can dance on it and not tire as fast. when you first walk on to it . its kinda trippy. but it feels great and if you back flip on the flat ground. its like awsome> possioum... the crystal is just a sick ass venue.. amazing beer great food. the only downer is the stage is TINY. but it holds about 1000-2000 peeps... if you every have a chance go..

and btw in the 60;s the merry pranksters held two acid tests in the crystal.
 
He's there every year. Not a bad time. Musics not bad. Not that great either. Too many hipster frat boys though. If you have a good group of friends and just want to spend the day drinking it's all good. See people passed out and throwing up hours before the show starts everywhere, and plenty of dbags around.

Spac is a great venue though. Allmans usually come every year. Phish hit it on the last 2 tours. One of my favorite venues, beautiful place.
 
Dave is the same everytime. His band is pretty good. The songs are alright. The crowds pretty lame.

Slightly stupid, depends what condition they're in. If they're more than slightly stupid the show blows. I've seen them get too messed up to play well. They aren't bad in general. And snoop dog isn't really worth seeing these days.
 
dude, im so glad you wrote this down. i have never had any hope for most of the people on ns and their music tastes...

the disco biscuits always put on a damn good show, do some crazy shit to their songs (playing them backwards etc)

the string cheese incident put on a fucking boss ass show (so do anyone involved with them, eoto, kyle hollingsworth band...)

im sure pretty lights has been mentioned, but they fucking rage it live

lotus is always amazing

never seen the roots but would really like to

murs rocks sets for sure

and if you EVER get the chance to see toubab krewe, you need to fucking do it. the dopest, most fun shows i have ever been to.
 
thats why you dont sit lawn. lawn is where the fratboys are, and the kids who just show up to party but dont even like dave.

but yeah if you can see dave at SPAC, alpine, or the gorge. those are always some of his best shows of the tour
 
already planning two nights of dave this summer at alpine. and n2 is 4th of july, gonna be EPIC.

though im still trying to track down pavilion for night two cuz tickemaster sucks
 
I love toubab krewe. When I see him on a festy lineup I'm so much more likely to go. That's my music right there. Raw jam with some fucking crazy instruments.

I'm not a huge bisco fan but I've been to a few of there shows. Just hit up a few lotus shows so far this winiter. Just went saturday for my birthday actually. New deal is in the same genre I guess, but I like them better than biscuits.

I love PL. I hear a lot of hate towards him but I guess it's all opinion. It's always a nice flowing dance party and it just works. He's a cool guy too. I'd go to a PL show over Girl talk any day.

Can't go wrong with cheese. That rothbury set last year was awesome. (RIP Sherwood)
 
that would be a sick show, except their singer always seems to suck live. john is a fucking beast at guitar though.

i went to a combined styx, REO Speedwagon, and Night Ranger concert in november. twas crazy. i caught a drumstick from night ranger that bounced off my friend's head
 
"Pop" wise her concert was the best I have seen. If you didnt notice I broke it down into categories. Did you see the Monster Ball Tour? No? I didnt think so, it was actually really good..... And no I am not a fag because i went and enjoyed a Lady gaga show but it is my job to go to these concerts. And by far her stage, costume, dancing, voice, and stage presence were all outstanding.
 
And weak list? I have seen Bruce, and saw elton/ billy joel last year. Bruce was pretty good but deffinetly not as good as he was when i saw him 9 years ago. Dont get me started with Billy Joel that was terrible and Elton was Meh. i have seen a lot of concerts over the past couple years, for me to enjoy a concert has to be just more than music. How well the crowd is involved, stage setup, costume, dancing, voice, all have a big affect wether or not the concert was good.

new deal is for sure pretty similar to lotus, lotus just tends to be a bit more organic in their sounds i think. the times i have seen the new deal (only twice) they seemed to be pretty heavy on the synth and effects but were still so so sick. saw them at bisco inferno last year at red rocks, was such an ill line up, lotus tore that show up, best act of the night for sure.

i would rather go to a PL show than most other "electronic" shows just cuz its not filled with techno baselines the whole time. the fact that they have a real drummer live is pretty fucking cool too i think.

yes rothbury last year was fucking dope. sad that its not coming back this year. toubab, pl, soundtribe, the cheese, holy shit what a time. haha and phish is doin 2 days at the gorge this summer again, gonna have to make that trip, nice cuz its only like two weeks after the cheese do 3 days at red rocks. gonna be a fun little while..
 
Marilyn Manson is a sick concert, he was on Mayhem Festival last year with mushroomhead, killswitch engage and a bunch of other bands. 9 hours of pure metal mayhem, it was pretty crazy. Def going back this year when atreyu, rob zombie, in this moment and korn are playing. In this moment has the most amazingly hot singer.

Hollywood Undead, Atreyu and escape the fate are really sick. Atreyu played for like 2 hours, so did Hollywood Undead. Def would go see all those bands again.

Went to Bob Dylan too, hes a legend and I recommend him because hes like 70 and wont be around much longer.

Im going to the U2 show at MI State football field, pretty stoked.
 
I saw Collie Buddz and Ratatat and they were so sick, my bro also saw Zion I Rebelution and Mike Posner and said they were insane
 
Sorry I go to show's for music. Costumes and dancing don't have anything to do with it. Stage presence is always helpful. Just isn't good music though.

Mainstream music these days has dropped so far down.

ive seen pretty lights like 4 or 5 times and those shows are sick. also Nosaj Thing puts on a sicks show as well as EOTO, Pnuma Trio etc. or like SCI or Damian Marley. Wailers are good, or if you wanna get crazy hit up some Caspa, Rusko, or PantyRaid. i hear Furthur is great as well although i have never seen them
