best college to ski?

ok, i got the options of University of B.C., University of California, University of Colorado. Any others which would be good? Can anyone say from experience which of the above are sick and close enough to ski 1/2 days?

you cant ski in college. when you show up they put one of thoe house arest things on your ankle and your not allowed to leave the campus until junior year.

yeah, cmc has campuses in all the ski towns here. hey!! and if you realy want to be cool you could get a degree in ski resort management! whoa good idea!!

i got to st mikes and we get a free pass to smuggs and its only 40 min. away form smuggs and 1 hr from sugarbush, stowe, mad river glen, and like 1hr 10 min form jay peak. and its real close to montreal for quick weekend trips to the bars and casinos

Western State College (as mentioned above) is 25 minutes from Crested Butte and when i went there it was 350 for a seasons pass (with blockoutdates) with shuttles running every 30 minutes from gunnison up to CB... CMC up at steamboat is awesome i hear... I also went to CSU which is pretty close to CU boulder...both in my opinion are too far from resorts..

 
^ yeah if u don't really care about academics that would definately be the best school for skiing

yes, western is close to cb, but b warned if you like cities, western probably isn't the place for you. My gf still lives there and I think she paid like 450 for her cb pass. i think the 350 one is for weekends only or something, u don't want that pass.

go to Utah. alta bird is only 22 miles about a 30 minute drive from campus. PC is just as far. you can ski every day if you want. that is where i went and if you are serious about skiing and school go to utah. oh but never mind don't come here, more snow for me.

if u goto UBC u get a $300 seasons pass to Whistler/blackcomb... not a bad deal if u can work a schedule with 3 day weekends etc...and have somewhere u can crash in whistler.

 
Which University of California campus are you talkin bout? if its UC davis, its a 1.5 hour drive to tahoe. UC berkeley, 3 hour drive to tahoe, and anywhere else you really can't ski anything worthwhile.

 
dont really know which campus its an exchange program from the uk. what about mammoth in cali?

UBC is incredible. Moved out here last year and haven't had a single complaint. Vancouver is sick. Whistler is sick. All the bud you can smoke for dirt cheap. You can ski during the day then come back to UBC and chill on the beach with a joint and a beer in the afternoon, unbeatable. Also, they have a really big exchange program, know lots of aussies and brits that have come over here just to ski this term.
