Best college schedule to shred hard

ok so if im trying to ride as much as possible. how should i set up my class schedule for next semester and the following semester. Do you think the best way to do it is morning classes and ride in afternoon. or night classes and ride in the morning. or should you just load upon classes for a few days and try to get days off to shred the whole day. all situations plus weekends for sure. whats your take new schoolers??? proabably an hour from the mountain

I skied over 100 days a season before college and now I ski maybe 10. Its time consuming and money becomes very very important. Not trying to be a downer though because college is awesome

would you really ski all day then not fall asleep in night classes? other then that, however you do it as long as you make an effort you should be good. maybe load up on school for a few days then take a few days off or morning classes.

fridays are usually your best bet. the trick is to load up in the spring/summer/fall semesters so you can scale the electives back in the winter.

had some buds have 6 classes T,TH and thats it.

but since you are in SLC i assume, def do afternoon classes for the pow days. and if you want to ski in the afternoon sometime, just find when the other times are that same class is taught and go then.

but sync your schedule up with friends, so you have someone to ride with.

Honestly it all depends on when, and how you sleep. Can you get up in the morning? If so, take some classes through 8am-1pm. Your afternoons will be free, but you'll definitely have to go to sleep earlier. Personally I need at least 6 hours at night or else I pass out after classes for an hour or two.

You could also just do the opposite and take night classes like mentioned before. It would feel more like a chore though. Waking up for skiing that is. Would probably have less fun if you felt you had to keep to an early schedule for skiing.

You shouldn't let other people decide this shit for you though. It will really affect your grades if you pick what someone else told you because they just said "this way is the best". Just what works out best for you. Maybe set aside a few days to test.

well you'll find out you can either have a tuesday/thursday off schedule, or if you really want a hectic day you can go mon, wed, fri off schedule. just play around with your schedule until you decide if you wanna ski 5 days a week or 4

I think whole days is a much better way to go about it. Try to pick classes that are only T, TH or maybe T, W, TH. That way you get a long weekend every weekend, and if you get behind on classwork, you can stay home for a whole day to catch up.You will also save gas because you will save a round trip on T and TH. Assuming you ski 9-4.

M, W, F, S, Su off = about 35 hours of skiing a week.

M, F, S, Su off = about 28 hours of skiing a week.

Afternoons, S, Su off = about 24 hours of skiing a week.

I think the answer is clear.

when I spent a semester at the U of Utah, I only has classes on Tues and Thurs, and my earliest class was at 1 so I got a retarded amount of skiing in. Even on days I had class I could still ski pow in the morning, and still take 12 credits. If I wanted to take a day off of skiing it would be on the weekends to avoid the crowds.

Personally, I stack up on classes some days and have thursdays off to go skiing with some friends. Some people i know just go in the afternoon, but by the time you get there its all skied off on the east coast

well two semesters ago i did a lot of skiing. i had M W F classes with T and Th off but if you can get that switched or at least late classes on those days or really early classes, that would be golden

For me I work 4 days a week, ski 3 days, and go to school 3 days.

Mon - School Mornings, Work days

Tues - Skiiiiii

Wed - School Mornings, Work days

Thur - skiiii, night class

Friday - ski

Sat - work

Sun - work

I also have an online class to keep my units up, but it works really well.

i'd say try to get as many once a week classes as possible if you're very concerned with ski time. this semester i only have one class on monday from 10-12 (leaving me the rest of the day to ski), tuesdays and wednesdays are packed, then i have no class on thursday or friday.

The Tues/Thurs schedule seems to be the best for skiing. 4 day weekends for trips, and only two days a week that you can get a pow dump and not be able to ride because of school.

Usually almost all university programs aside from sciences allow you to have a friday-off schedule, I've yet to have class on friday. Other than that I would highly suggest getting all morning classes and go for some nice afternoon shredding. Been doing that all semester and I've been loving it. I know people that have loaded classes into one day so where they have class 2-3 times a week, don't get me wrong this is nice and sick for riding although come mid term times it gets really stressful, thats why I suggest morning classes.

tuesday, thrusdays- im out by 12, monday, wednesday-classes dont start till 3:45

friday saturday sunday are off

so if i push it I can ride everyday, i just cant move or pay attention to any of my classes for the life of me

That's a real solid schedule, I wanna do something like this next year. How many classes you have on the packed days?

well I'm only taking 12 credits (4 classes) each semester because of AP credits. on tuesday I have a TV production class that lasts from 9:25-12:05, break for lunch, then again from 1:35-4:15. after that i have a class from 7:15-9:45. my wednesdays aren't even packed at all to be honest, just class from 10-12, then from 4-6:50. i love my schedule right now
