Best Cheap Laptop Ever

I just thought you guys should know that I had a Best Buy giftcard so I bought this laptop to take when I travel.

I was looking at netbooks but this guy was only $250 and at 14" it is lightweight and portable but still fully functional. The full size keyboard works great and has nice keys. It also has a card reader and cd/dvd burner. The display is good. My other laptop is a first gen macbook from 06 and this notebook has 3x the hard drive space and 2x as much ram.

It came with full windows 7 but I usually boot Ubuntu and it runs great. Ubuntu has workspace switching like OSX and a load of other features that make it a solid alternative OS.

The specs aren't amazing compared to other current model laptops but for $250 you can't go wrong.

They're a little tough to find and I ended up having to search on my phone and stop in the middle of an 1800 mile road trip to get this one.

Go buy one now.

The HD is actually ~320gb not 250gb and the touch pad is cool because it allows multi touch zoom like an iphone. Use two fingers to pinch zoom.
 
if youre a gamer and willing to overlook a little bit of overpricing, i highly recommend the alienware m11x r3. Its only 11 inches and fucks shit up.
 
My older brother and my mom just got the 17" acer from walmart, I do believe. It might still be on sale. It comes with the i5 and everything. They are more then great for their price. There was a review on G4 the other day that said that it doesn't get hot so it "won't melt your dick off or fuse your vagina shut." Search for it online! Pretty sure it had free shipping as well.
