Best cheap boots?

Could use some advice from more experienced skiers.

Long story short: Snowboarded for 8 years and wanted to get into skiing,

but couldn't find gear that I could afford. Finally found some

Icelantice Danollies super cheap end of last season and got them mounted

up (stoked!). Skied a couple of days on ancient boots that hurt pretty

bad. Have recently been looking for park boots but can't find any cheap

enough.

The question: What are some decent cheap boots that will work for park

riding? (If you want to offer to sell me some I would greatly appreciate

it! Size 28)

Thanks

Go to a local shop and see if they have any boots from last year. I did that and got 50% off on some boots from last year. You can usually argue the price they give you because they want to get them off their hands

Tried already, all they have left are Nordica Ace of Spades, they went down to $450 but still too expensive. Thanks though

I think I answered your other thread, but don't cheap out on boots because this is what you will be in all day. Last thing you want is to have some sort of pain. So just go to your local shop, see what fits best. Might be a bit late, but shops usually have summer deals.

I did that with 50% and got the DuB 6's. Love'em !! If they fit. You shoul go by the fit more then the price, you'll pay for it on the Mountain if you dont. The DuB 6's are nice cuz I have skinny legs, thats mostly why I got'em.

those ancient boots you were using didn't hurt your feet because they were old. it was because they didn't fit you properly, you didn't do them up correctly, and you're skiing "in the backseat". buying new boots that dont fit, no matter how nice and fancy they are will not help you at all. What you need is to do is realize that you're investing now into years and years of your feet feeling great while you ski. spend some quality time trying on lots and lots of boots with a bootfitter until you find the one that fits.

basically there is no reason to take that intermediate step with boots. use the free ones you have till you can pony up the cash for new ones that were fitted properly. buying low quality boots for a couple hundred off the internet is really a waste of money.
