Best camera for filming woods/park

I'm looking for a camera that shoots 1080p hd video, has a manual and auto focus, and has a good zoom for filming in the trees. My price range is $500-$700. Any ideas?

would be good if you could fill out the sticky, but a used panasonic tm700 would prbly be your best option. hdslr's are way out of your price range, and it sounds like you want something like a tradiotnal camera and not a gopro

Look at some Canons and Sonys. They have relatively cheap ones.
