Need help finding a good camera bag. A backpack than can hold a DSLR, mic, lenses, a tripod, etc. but something that I could also shred with. Anybody have any experiences with a good bad or would like to suggest one I could buy!? It's also boxing day tmrw so I'll be on the hunt.

Thanks!

I just got the lowepro slingshot 202 AW. It's the perfect size for the essentials yet small enough to ski with. And it has some one-strap system where you can sling it around your shoulder and get your camera out without ever taking it off. Not to mention a waterproof cover built into the bottom that you can pull over it for when it starts raining. I'm happy with it.

The Dakine Mission Photo has worked pretty well for me in the little skiing that I have done with it. It can fit all of the things that you mentioned inside the photo block while keeping them dry and safe. This one also has the rain cover to make sure that your gear stays dry, which is definately a nice feature.

Fstop gear makes super nice packs, but they're pricey

Clik Elite makes some really nice packs, too, higher on the price range

I have a burton Pack that I like a lot, a little bulky, but it holds a lot

I'm not such a big fan of the dakine bags, they are alright, but I don't like the camera compartment and dividers as much as my burton pack or the others

just a little note, there are some great bags you can shred with, but I personally am a lot more cautious, especially with a full setup. Also, adding a tripod will make it much more awkward, especially if it is a big video one
