Best Buy kicks ass

I got a computer from there a little over a year ago. Hard drive crashed within the one year warranty, they tried fixing it. They didn't, brought it back in again. Did this dance for another month and the other day I got a call. They couldn't fix it so they credited me almost 800 bucks for it so I could get anything I wanted. So I did and picked up this beauty that has twice the space and speed as my old one and I essientially paid only 80 bucks for it.

Thank you Best Buy.

dude, at futureshop i sent away my digital camera. it was a point and shoot. high end one cost about 400 bucks. because the telescopic lens was stuck. (i dropped it in the sand. lets keep that DOWNLOW!) anyway i sent it away and when it came back they said it was damage due to dropping it. i looked at the screen which was crushed inwards. i defenetly didnt do that, argued with them a bit and they gave me 400 bucks instore credit which i used to buy a rebel xt.

Commision= a bunch of retards trying to sell anything and everything they can to you. I do my best to stay away from places that pay commision.

word dude, same here, their prices may be a bit high, but its kinda nice being able to feel solid about what you're buying

i bought my zune off there and it said if you buy a black one, you get the 100 dollar home set for free. so i got the black one just for that, but i guess i didnt put the home thing in my cart so they didnt send it to me, so i called them to try to soo if i could get it and the chick who took my phone call said, yea its a possibility you can get it, call back in 20 minutes, so i was like wtf, i called back and she completely deleted my order number and shit

Not including a monitor, which I already had. So yeah a very good deal... 500gb of memory... dual core... the works.

i really think its the managers that gotta motivate the employees, also the employees have to love what they sell. i don't make commission at the ski shop i work at but just sellin mass skis that are absolutely perfect for people makes me happy

so you would like to have everyone work there absolutely hate there job because they make shit for money so you dont have to do any research.

i went to some store with my mom the other day

and i saw this really ugly purple box like shaped backpack

so i bought it

four bucks.

for a pretty decently big bag.

you got jewed....basically that sums that up

I will never buy a computer part int he store again!

i used to work there. commission doesnt mean a thing, the computer and audio guys know their shit. Media was like 50 percent knowledgeable and 50 percent clueless and needed a computer to check everything. cell phones and SOMETIMES cameras...clueless. they have the weakest training for complex processes and always need help from a manager. getting a cell activated and all that jazz is going to take you forever there. It depends of the employee really. like there are a few camera guys that know absolutlely everything and you will never know half of what they do and half are kids brought in from other departments to cover. if you are getting home theater, go to a best buy with a Magnolia store/room.
