What are the best boots for park skiing that are somewhat budget? I had a pair of nordicas this year and I found that they were too loose and I got a lot of shin bruise.

If a boot fits you, but has all kinds of techfittings and is heavier then your liking im almost positive you can find a very similar fitting boot that will in most cases work better for freestlye riding \_(..)_/

But I may hate it..
I tried a 3 piece when I had no idea how to ski so I can’t remember

A linear flex pattern is one that feels more or less the same from start to finish.
What you are looking to try is a linear flex pattern, not a progressive one.
