Best budget park boots

What are the best boots for park skiing that are somewhat budget? I had a pair of nordicas this year and I found that they were too loose and I got a lot of shin bruise.

The ones that fit right. Boots for different types of skiing are more marketing tham technology. I know people who charge hard in Full Tilts and people who ride park in Lange.

B-Mack skis in Lange World Cup boots

I might get told im wrong here but imo theres technically differences in a "park boot" and a non park boot. If a boot fits you, but has all kinds of techfittings and is heavier then your liking im almost positive you can find a very similar fitting boot that will in most cases work better for freestlye riding \_(..)_/

Unless it's a pure touring boot there is most likely going to be a variant of the exact same boot without the features you have described.

I want to try a 3 piece boot only because of the progressive “can’t find the front of the boot” feeling that I hear about.

But I may hate it..

I tried a 3 piece when I had no idea how to ski so I can’t remember

A progressive flex is one that starts out soft and then ramps up, becoming stiffer the deeper you into the flex pattern you get.

A linear flex pattern is one that feels more or less the same from start to finish.

What you are looking to try is a linear flex pattern, not a progressive one.

Yeah that’s what I meant. Got my wires crossed

Don't tell that to Full Tilt or Dalbello ;) They have "progressive flex" all over their marketing materials because "linear flex" has become this weird bugaboo in the industry. FT and DB should be shouting about what makes their boots unique, not trying to make them sound like all the other guys. Personally, I love a linear flex and couldn't give two shits what the industry thinks about it.
