Best Boots for Brody

alright,

I'll be running LINE LIEN LINE LIEN LINE (LINE) Mike Nicks (171cm) with most likely Look Jib bindings, and steezy clothes. I have shitty Salomon boots right now. I ride mostly park in ohio, but I'm an instructor, so i have to be able to do some nice turns, (well, at least I SHOULD be able to , not that I care...)

anyways, what would be the best boot for me? I'd need about a 27.5.

Would a soft boot be ideal?

the lange comp boot is quite nice but too tight to me. i like lange boots, but salomons feel so much more comfy right away. my langes were great after wearing them like 15 days.

Hey Brody it's Chip, I ride with Justin and the other Ohio Freestyle guys...I have Lange Banshee's and I love em. I used to have a pair of Dolomite's that I liked too but they cracked in half when I was out west a couple years ago. The new 1080 boot is dope tho.

1080 boots man, i just bought them they are sick as hell right when i put them on i thought they were socks or suttin compared to my old boots, so comfortable... im riding them with Line Skogens and Look P12 pretty much the same as you, go with what fits

Brody, I can get you the 1080 pro model for $300, or any rossi boot you want for $300 or under. Later.

yay for Justin and Brody not paying retail.

well, I can proform...but I know Salomon doesn't proform to (even PSIA certified) instructors.

that's what i've heard about the 1080 boots....that you either love them or hate them

alright, so I have 1080 boots....i'll check them out/try them on

i've also heard the Kneissel soft boots are dope

what about like...the rossi soft boots?

Get the boots that fit. You can only figure that out by trying them on.

All these little retards that try to tell you what boots to get, over the internet, are stupid. They either tell you what boot they think is cool, or tell you what boot they wish they could get.

Right on Phunk. You're dialed in buddy. Try on lots of boots higher end and lower end than what you think. See what fits best. A really good fit will make your foot stay warmer longer. Again I have to recommend the Tweak boot from Atomic because it's specially designed for hucking. I too am a coach (of freeski stuff) and love em (if they fit your foot). They're dampened and cushioned for rough landing but are modelled after the SL:9 Slalom boot chasis so they function very well/rsponsively in a turn.

the 120 comp is for freeriding. they have a spoiler on the back of the liner, very aggressive stance in the boot. i wouldnt really reccomend it for park because of the spolier it puts ur knees in a bad position if u dont land right. but yea the boot is sick as hell. i took my rivets out, they were too stiff in !

I'm going to go check the Lange Banshee and the Salomon 1080 and the Pro if they have that. I doubt they have the Atomic Tweak boot.

i'll try them on...see what I like.

any other suggestions? Thanks so far, guys.

Salomon 1080's, no questions asked, sweet flex, all-mountain use, rubber foot bed for the un-wanted cased landings. I'm sold.
