Best boot fitter in the bay area.

California Ski Company, in Berkeley. Get there: go north on the road that REI is on, and hang a left right after REI. It's on the right. If you see a North Face outlet center, you've gone a block or two too far.

I don't know, butIt shouldn't be too much. If you buy boots there, they'll keep stretching/molding/grinding them until they fit properly for free, so it shouldn't be all that much. Those guys know what they're doing-sold me boots four seasons ago, when I was 13, and they did a good enough job that I still have the same boots, and love them to death. (Salomon X-Wave 10s, and no, my feet haven't grown very much since then.)

Greg and Martin and those guys at Cal ski are pretty legit... they fit my dad back before I started bootfitting, and did an alright job. If you're looking for a precise, race fit, they're potentially the way to go.

but seeing as I always give hookups to kids on NS, if you come out to Any Mountain in concord, i'll give you the hook up and stretch your boots for free if you need... Talk to Rob, AJ, or myself (Sean) and we'll get you set up fa sho.

Who? Me? I've mounted up a pair already. Kid in the shop got a pair. I actually tried them out. They were a bit long for my liking, being they were like 188 or 189 or something, but they were pretty legit..
So... why wouldn't you trust us? Is it because of that whole Boone-ON3P thing that never existed to begin with?

nice i live in alamo so concord isnt too far for me. ill try to make it in tomorrow afternoon after work

Huh? Its cool, I don't have a reason to distrust you. I will be getting some wrenegades soon though, i'll bring them in.

Can you guys bend brakes or do I have to buy wide brakes?

Hey sean, after riding on them a couple days they feel a lot better, i think im guna wait for them to break in more.

But if i need anything ill come in! Thanks anyways

They're tyrolia peak 15s and i think they are around 90 mm now, they have to get to 114. I just dont want to pay another 20 bucks to buy wide brakes

I'm no expert, but 24 mm is a far stretch. There are probably race skis that thin (no, that was sarcasm). I'll say you probably need to buy new brakes, but please prove me wrong, Sean

We dont sell, nor do we have jigs for tyrolia. The tyrolia rep hates us or something. we've tried to get the jig from them for years. I wish we sold them though. Good ass binders.

I know that the aformentioned California Ski Co. in Berkeley does have tyrolia jigs though, so you can probably get done up there.

yeah. they cost a lot more than any mountain though and they seem like they would make me get wide brakes instead of bending them, but whatever man. Thanks
