Best boardgame of all time

I'm not a big board game guy, but enjoy a good Scrabble game here and there.

Also, one of my friends (who's a huge game person) picked up this game called Formula D a while ago and it's a pretty good time.

formula D is awesome to kill time. side note: i posted 2 of these thread wiht different opinions.

Carcassonne is up there as well. Especially when you get a few expansions for it.

Also - with the right people and at the right time, Risk can compete.

But really though - Catan (Cities and Knights expansion) ftw.

that game is awesome, but didnt take number 1 because i hate explaining the concept to noobs or less experienced players, and the time it takes to play, it rarely gets finished.
