Best bindings

no PX go back to last years Pivots and FKS, you cant go wrong, they go right under the boot allowing the ski to flex better and turns come from beneath your foot not behind it

p10, p12, FKS 155, find em and buy em, they are light too

even if he was an 85 punder ripper id suggest some 4frnt deadbolt 412s if he was 120+ and a hard rider id suggest 4frnt deadbolt 614's

how much do you weigh if your pushing 180 and skiing hard i would go with fks155, if your an average sized joe go for some p12/p14s

The PX's Suck major balls. I've been through 3 pairs now. Definately try to pick up some FKS or at least the old look turntables.

as everyone is saying, old look pivots, or some old turntables. fks120s would be fine as well. if you keep an eye out, lower din turntables pop up all the time on ebay, for really cheap. great bindings. no PXs.

Whatever look or rossi binding that fits your needs/build best will work sick for park. You most likely could rock something in the 3-12 range so I would recomend the PX12 JIB

I am 6'2 170 lbs, 28.5 boot.. I have 912's and marker 1200 free's (on diff skis, obviously) both set at 12. I've had some really annoying experiences with my salomons, and fairly awesome use out of my markers. It could be that markers hold up better when fully cranked, but my 912's are weaksauce in park. They pop out sideways too easily. I fucked up my knee about a month deep riding markers due to a non release, but what can you do sometimes. I've gotten hurt WAY worse from pre release than non release. There's nothing worse that fucking your knee up cuz your bindings didn't release, except bailing at like 50 mph for no other reason than your ski flying off.

arent you not supposed to crank your bindings because its bad for the springs, like stay 2 away from max is what ive been told

wow this kid is dumb px's suck i broke mine already after using em for 3 weeks

they are practically all plastic heel piece makes me mad

your toe wings are loose. thats why you popped out. as for the markers, you REALLY should not be cranking bindings all the way. A, its very hard on the springs, and they loose their strength, resulting in them having inaccurate settings, and B, their reactions can be less stable and predictable.

as for bindings, my personal recommendation, especially for park/pipe riding would be An FKS/Zrace 15-18. any of the older race stock turntable bindings are just as good, if not better. like freshhh said, the screw mounting location really does give the ski a much more natural flex pattern than traditional bindings. it is very noticeable, and thats y people are so hardcore about them. the traditional pivot series is also very good. at a 14 din, youd be fine. same idea as the turntables, but with more user-friendly design, and a little more slop in the interface than the zero-slop interface of the race bindings.

fks 120, or 155 (pushing it) if you cannot get your hands on the 120 (definitely no need for an 18 din). The mounting area the binding takes up on the ski is rather miminal, making it excellent for pipe. PX bindings are decent, but they create a radically different feel in pipe, especially when skiing switch.

id say at least a 14 binding

S914, Px14, Scratch140s all good for the lowest priced bindings u should go for

for the higher end (16 bindings) id say S916, or p18s or somethin
