I'm fairly thin and tall, bout 5'7 and 120. Looking for a 90 ish underfoot big mountain ski that I can do spins and other tricks with. Any suggestions? The cheaper the better...
 
Why are you going so thin? I understand you don't want a super fat ski for big mountain, but I would still probably look around 100 to 110. Just personal preference.

110 is pretty fat to be throwing around in tight trees and big spins. id say look at the line blends, the on3p kartel 98, the 108, and maybe a k2 shredditor

Only two of those skis are an option. The line blend and shredditor are absolute noodles and are useless in any sort of big mountain. Or any speed...or chop...or variable. Not usable in a big mountain sense at all. Fun skis though.

K98 and 108 are good choices. You say 110 is fat then suggest a 108 ha. Good picks on that though. Other more freestyle oriented skis would be a 4frnt devastator, moment meridian maybe....yada yada.

More big mountain oriented skis would be the moment Belafonte, 4frnt Kye 110, on3p wrenegade, salomon qst. The new head KORE 105 looks pretty sick. Blizzard makes some good whips. Black crow is up there too. Have no experience with the last two though.

true, i just know my bacons are 108 and have pivots on them they are fucking heavy and i am sore at the end of a day skiing trees with those things

thinner skis are a preference for me- I'm just looking for something near 80-95

You could look at on3p. The kartel 98 sounds like a good option for you. Also as a side note(not to be a dick) but where do you live that 5'7" is tall?

Oh lol how old are you? Also I can relate, I just bought them and with the CAD being so bad they ended up being over a grand with bindings

13- I reuse my bindings. I bought a nice pair of look's for bout 150

I kept breaking my old bindings so I decided to just get an entirely new setup
 
blizzard brahama, 88 under foot fairly solid underfoot carbon in tip and tail keeps it fairly stiff through the ski. They've given it a little more shape for next year so it skis nicely on piste, tons of fun for everywhere.

Its slightly more ski than the enforcer but feels similar to the 93 in that its fairly turny.
 
Be a little more specific, how/where are you skiing how would you like to ski? are you using these for park or just all/big mountain.

Little park, more big mountain. Cliffs- around 10-15 feet.
 
You would probably get wayyyy more out of a 100 waist ski than a 90 for big mountain/cliffs. I went from filthy riches to Kartel 98s and even in the park I'm pissed I didn't go fatter sooner. Now all I really want is the Kartel 108. It's just all around more stable, floats better, butters more easily.

100 is the new 90. You'll feel so much more solid on landings.

What mountain do you ski?
 
There clearly is a gap in peoples understanding as too what big mountain is. OP, you want an all mountain ski, by the likes of what you are describing. Big-mountain skiing is used so loosly now days. Unless your skiing 50 degree or greater lines at full speed hucking 40 or greater foot cliffs in 140 flex race boots your not skiing big mountain. Also big mountain is not any bit of tree skiing... It is all gnarly spines, cliffs and couloirs. These skis are usually around 110 waist and are extremely stiff and heavy. That being said, get a pair of K98s.

also, curious as to what your home mountain is...

Moment Tahoe now called the Tahoe 96. It's directional, fairly stiff (especially at 120lbs), triple camber, and surprisingly versatile for a 96mm ski. I've been rocking a pair for early/late season low tide skiing and I couldn't be happier with their performance. They bust crud better than any sub-100mm ski I've ever been on and they can rail groomers at mach speed. They're dope, buy them.
