Hey NS,

To start things off, I've been skiing since I was 3, I'm 17 now so I've got alot of expierence. I was mainly a racer up until a couple years ago and I've been really getting into more backcountry and off piste/tree skiing. I'd say I'm a pretty good skier but this year I want to try getting into park a bit more. I was wondering if theres a specific ski you guys could reccomend for me and a length? I've been looking at the Icelantic Da'Nollies and the K2 Domains.

I'm 5'10/5'11 160 pounds. My "powder" skis are a 180. Is that a good length to stay at for park skis or should I go a little bit towards a 176ish length. If I missed any details about myself let me know

Thanks in advanced!

Your sig says you have 2014 Line chronics?

yeah my friend gave them to me for $200, but when I used them last year they felt really small (170) and they're really beat up. So i kind of just use them to fuck around in my backyard and stuff.

I would stick would Line Chronic's the 2015 model look's great, check out the 178.

It's got a nice early rise to help you blast through a tracked out park with effortless float and easier turn initiation, it's got great symmetrical flex, and it's made of some bomb proof materials with fatter edges this year to make these things last for a few seasons, they are a little bit lighter this year using a thinner core too. These and the Armada Al Dente, super forgiving in the park.

I'd just look for a cheap straight ahead park ski. Chances are you're not going to be beating the shit out of them your first year in the park, so no need to spend a lot to get a top of the line park ski. I'd peep line masterminds, volkl alley or K2 press...

I'd just go on evo.com and use the filters to dial in what kind of ski you want.
