so i just got a 40k a year job out of college and i need to start my own checking accont, theres 10000 banks these days so i dont really know how to go about this and all the sites where you can compare them arent proving to be that big of a help. i dont want to get fd by hidden fees or stupid fees and im not ever gonna have that much money in it bc im gonna be poor. i basically want the lowest fees and charges from a balance that will range anywhere from $1-2000, anyone have any GOOD advice, i might just go with wells fargo just from word of mouf, thanks homieeeees

you landed a 40k job but need to ask a site full of 15 years about where to pick a bank- i'm confused

haha to the post above!!! he's got a great point.

But in all seriousness I love Bank of America and I will never switch banks...

Charles Schwab. Free ATM usage around the world, awesome exchage rates for foreign currency. Never had a problem.

On the other hand HSBC can go suck a giant fucking cock.

Oh yeah, wells faggoto is the bottom of the barrel scum. I bet they've been sued more times than the majority of other consumer banks together. DO NOT GET WELLS FARGO.

I like TDBank and I don't pay any fees, but maybe thats just how my account is still tied to my parents account.

you should probably ask some local banks why they deserve your hard earned money.

also... how are you just now getting a checking account???
