Best and Worst ATTITUDES is skiing?

Best: Line Travel Circus and Inspired Media. I had the opportunity to ride with Will Wesson and Garrett Russell twice over the last two seaons. A little bit about myself, I'm a pretty terrible park skier, but I love and appreciate the sport. Both Will and Garrett could not have been more supportive and motivational to me, this random fat ski bum who can only throw pencilly 3's. Line Travel Circus and Inspired represent what skiing is really about: enjoying your time.

And why are we even discussing worst attitudes? I think the worst part of skiing is the amount of hate, ridicule, and superiority.

The best attitude a skier can have is always enjoying his/her time on the mountain regardless of the quality of skiers riding with him. That's what its all about.

He wouldn't be a bad one. He enjoys skiing just as much as anybody else. So shut your suckhole. Guys who do comps get so much hate just because they do comps and spin to win over style. Some people may want to do that to have fun skiing.

Worst attitude is anyone that has a plan. I could ski so off course It could be a half hour hike back to where people are. That's the fun of it. Fuck maps, GPS shit. Go where nobody is, that's what's fuckin up!

1. sorry i managed to insult your mancrush and 2. that is exactly why alot of comp skiers get hated on. skiing is great because there are no limits when it comes to creativity. if the only advancements in skiing were in trick technicality, then the community would probably be half its size. The best part of this sport is the style people put into it, you can make a name for yourself without having to go big or "push" the limits, which in my opinion is pretty inspiring. and think what edits are the most entertaining? edits by comp skiers or people who avoid the comp scene? (besides twal)

I usually don't get involved with these petty geopper debates on ns but I'd just like to point out that one's attitude towards skiing has nothing to do with whether or not they compete or make edits. Goepper may all about competing and spinning ridiculous amounts even when it looks silly, but he still clearly loves the sport and enjoys all his time on the hill so you can't say he has a bad attitude about the sport.

i never said he had a bad attitude, for all i know hes the nicest dude in skiing. i just used him as an example earlier as one of the general populations best faces in skiing

I know why they get hated on. I just think that it's stupid. I don't care for the ideology of comps, or the comp scene in general and I like watching edits from people like Andy Parry and Ian Compton much more than watching comps. But despite hating comps, people shouldn't hate on the skiers who do them. You said that skiing is great because there isn't a limit on creativity, which is true, but it's also great that people can do whatever the fuck they want, and if they want to do comps why the hell can't they do so without having a bunch of kids get on their dicks for it?

I think this thread has quickly become a shining example of how not to act and how not to treat people.

Best attitude everyone coming down their first run on a powder day.

Worst attitude: James heil kid is so cocky such a douche he just ruins the whole fun of park skiing (only place you can find the kid)

I have a friend who has skied and took a chairlift with Chris Benchetler. She said he was always stoked and helped her progress with her Big MTN skiing. Sounds like a cool guy for the most part. But in park, I would have to say Gus Kenworthy. I have never seen that guy not smile. He is always stoked!

Absolute truth, I've known Alex for 5 years now and I've never once seen him on the hill not stoked even in the worst days.

Worst attitude: Simon Dumont

What do all you goons have against Goepper? The kid fucking slays. You dont like the pants he wears or something?
