"Attitude is everything" my coach tells me so who should we look at for the best and worst attitudes in skiing for an example?

doesnt have to be someone in particular like a big name pro or anything. just look for those people on the hill that are excited to ski and are stoked on someones tricks whether it be their first time hitting a jump or first time throwing a dub. growing up i skied with a group of people that got stoked for everyone as they progressed at their own rate. fuck the douche bags that talk shit about people trying to get better.

Worst attitude is not being stoked. Be stoked at all times, even if you're just by yourself, just the mindset is good enough. Shred hard and do your thing

Sorry, my English. This was to say "IN" skiing not is skiing... Sorry.

Yeah, I was looking for people to watch and what to do and what not to do. Thank you for your answers. Mostly pros to be aware of would help.

I always try to be happy when I am skiing. Hard not to.

Best days on snow.

Best attitudes: Most of the people at Arapahoe Basin

Worst attitudes: Grumpy old guys who flip their shit and swear at little kids for not knowing how to get on the T Bar at Breck

The fact that your coach even had to reiterate this to you is a sign that you need to step back and reevaluate why you ski.

Nicky has a great attitude. https://www.newschoolers.com/watch/636748.0/5-Questions-With-Nicky-Keefer

I get that if you don't put a run to your feet you may be a little upset, but honestly when that reporter or whatever at the end of the run asks you how you felt you did don't brush them off and treat them inferior. i saw that a lot actually on the NZ games live stream.

Simon Dumont has the WORST attitude I chilled with him for a minute at squaw when he was hitting the redbull park. Point being, he is a fuckin ass that portrays himself as being the greatest in the universe.

"I saw Simon Dumont once and he was disappointed he didn't win the x games, what a terrible attitude to skiing he has"

Jesus. You kids have no fucking idea what you are talking about.

Ehh i disagree. He has a good time but he misrepresents freeskiing with his whole fake rasta, persona and by worshipping wutang clan.

I would say that i think the LTC crew has a great attitude and Tommy Wallnuts aswell and definitely Edollo. As far as worst goes its not even a competition, Simon Dumont. Guy seems like a total sellout, he doesn't seem like he even enjoys it. He can ski though haha, very very well

Well seeing as he's always happy to ski and does so from opening to close everyday (even on shitty mid-western/ec resorts), with no complaints, I'd say he has the best attitude in park skiing... even if he may sound a bit different because he's such a big fan of the Wu that it's how he initially learned the English language.

If you think he sounds bad now, you shoulda heard him 3-4 years ago. Linguistic motherfucker now.

Your ignorance was greatly appreciated, fuck off.

Yeah what you said is b.s. anyone who would go on the road for two months to hit up 50 lesser known resorts and spread his stoke for skiing gets my respect. I was lucky enough to meet and ski with him and Phil and the rest of the crew when they were in Vermont and he is the real deal. If you want an example of great attitude I'm going with the Swede.

B dog and henrik have best attitude np. They are always so stoked and just always have fun. Cam Riley and Stept crew however not so much. I respect all of them tho

he doesn't represent 'freeskiing' bro he represents himself. the 'free' in freeskiing meaning he's free to express himself however he wishes.

Who the fuck are you to judge. That's just who he is. Have you ever met the guy? One of the most chill people I've ever met, he is 110% stoked on life. Just bc you think he's a gangster rasta thug doesn't mean he is rasta or whatever. It's just his style. I love reggae music but I'm not a rasta. I'm also a big fan of early 90s hip hop, and that includes wutang. You have a bad attitude. Check yourself. Henrik has the best attitude out of any skier I've ever met.

Ehh idk if that's a bad attitude, I think he (and shea) just are really passionate about their tricks, they're perfectionists of sorts, and they frustrate easily.

I've actually always kind of appreciated Cam's intros, showing him flipping the fuck out when he doesn't land something, I think it makes pros more relatable. It's not that TWP vibe, what looks like first try stomps on every insane thing you can imagine. Shots of Cam freaking out show that he bails too sometimes, and gets frustrated, just like the rest of us, and that what sets him apart is his dedication. He gets back up and does it again. I think that's a pretty good attitude.

Also Will Wesson has the best attitude. Had him as a windell's coach once, he just loves skiing. He's always down to ski no matter what the conditions, no matter where, no matter with who. Even if you suck and are just learning the basics of skiing he's down to ride with you and help you out

agreed 100%

Had the pleasure of camping and shredding with hackel last may and he really is so so stoked up on skiing every day!

I wouldnt say that he has a bad attitude, cam is really serious about the sport and getting that shot. Not that other guys arent serious he just shows it. He has the urban mentality which is differant than just having fun shredding the park at a resort.

Worst definitely Simon Douchemont. Had the displeasure of setting up a slopestyle event he was in. This butthurt bitch actually thought we should go retrieve his ski when the brake stuck on his fail landing and went flying down the course. Then he went apeshit butthurt when the boys and I laughed at his ridiculous request.

At the time I was thinking this guy has some bad karma coming his way. Now he has a busted ankle from an airbag and prob won't make the Olympics..

Spread the good vibes and fuck the bullshit
