best all mountain twin

im looking to change my 2nd gen 1080's for something newer this year or next year. problem is i don't spend that much time in the park, mabey 30-50% of my day, and i ski the ice rink that is Mt. Tremblant. i need a ski that can handle shitty icy conditions on the mountain, as well as the shitty icy park. any suggestions?

p.s. i sound as if i hate tremblant...but ive skied there every week for the past 4 years, so i can say what i want.

i have last years madtrix and they seem like they will be good in powder. with the wide tails the will be great for landing switch in pow.

I'd reccomend keeping your teneightys for park and rails, because dull skis suck on ice. also, fat skis wont be as hot on ice either. I ride Troublemakers and i ski ontario. if you wanna spend less you can get older concepts of mad trix for cheap too.

if you want a durable ski, i have skied the nordica beast 92 over rocks without snow, cement, dirt, roots, and grass (and snow) and the bases and edges are still prety good. they are a solid, stable, ski with a little stiffer flex and built to last

v-pros! most stable twin out there

scratches. don't get 1080's. the tips are too soft for ice. scratches have stiffer tipsandwon'tchatter on ice. holy no space bar.

depends on where you ski. but, stop being a pussy and join the fat ski revolution, what do you need skinny skis for? a fatter ski is gonna give a bigger stable stomping pad. i bought my pocket rockets made literally big turns on them and decided i'm never going back to skinny skis. fat skis bust crud better, ski corn better and mock pow. don't worry about them suffering in the bumps cause they dont and if you want something for groomers maybe you should consider your sexuality.

Rossi Scratch BC, or more or less any other semi fat BC twin. Works real well in the park. The wideth under the foot helps a bunch or rails and its ez to land those big airs when you got alotta ski to stabalize you. not to shabby in the pipe either. But taken these to the powder is like heaven. well possibly not as much heaven as a really really fat ski but still great. fun for skiing switch. light and easy to hike with easy to manuver. Seriosuly i would recommend these skis 100%, decent on ice too.

Ive heard lots about the Head Mojo's, if you have access to Ski Press magazine (free) they have a bunch of pages that has the best skis (and ratings of others) for every catagorey.
