i am sick and tired of gloves these days. They all seem to make my hands go damp, and then freeze. are there any specific gloves that are any good?

marmot's ULTIMATE GLOVE... theyre aptly named. they are like 150 bucks though. but i ahve them and i dont think my hands have ever been cold, and it takes a solid snoqualmie downpour to get them thoroughly wet... where as im under the impression it takes much less for your mom

a good solid glove with Goretex will do good, even though no matter what your hands will sweat and then get cold. the best thing to do is to where mitts, even 3 fingers are alright, but mitts are your best answer.

I have a pair of auclair gloves that they used to sell in the CSIA magazine. they're warm with some padding for those who do a little racing. they go a fair distance past the wrist and have a zipper (perfect for powder), and they are leather (cabretta leather possibly).

I have Dakine Ranger mitts and my hands have never been cold. They start to sweat and smell like shit, but even then they don't freeze. I'd strongly suggest them if u tend to get cold hands.

my best pair of gloves were some i ordered from Cabela's. they werea all black leather and gore-tex, same ones i guess army infantry used at the time, but yeah, my hands did sweat a lot, but never got cold, had to throw them out because they stank too bad.

right now i am using some hunting mitten things of my dad's i used them towards the end of the year when there was cold weather and then wet weather, hands never got cold, they are just wool too, no synthetics..

The Marmot work glove is dope, less expensive than the ultimate ski glove, and not as granola.

www.penguinmilk.com-because its sooo SpEShuL!

you definatly can't go wrong with marmot. I got the ultimate ski glove from them and like crystal said theye are fucking sick. I have NEVER been cold in them and they are soooo comfy. also theres like no wear after a whole season

i got drop mittens and my hands never get cold or sweat. they have a sort of neoprene-like glove liner that comes out every time you take them off, which makes them good for driving in the cold too.

i just got some cloudevil mitts they seem pretty tight. got them for like 70 to.

Hey farva, whats that resturaunt you like with all the goofy shit on the walls and the mossarlla sticks?....... Shenanigans, your talkin about shenanigans right?

i havent found a good glove yet. gloves dont last me 5 minutes cos they get all cut up on the edges of my ski through carryin them and grabs. anyone else get this?

Level has some sick gloves. Sort of pricey, but very warm and dry.

Also, GoreTex gloves are a gimmick. If you knew how much actual GoreTex fabris was in a glove you wouldnt buy them. There is little inserts in the palm and on top of the hand and that is it.

personally, I just stick with Swany's.

All the other gloves I've had either shred in no time, or get an unbearable stink after about a month. Swany's typically last me about 2 seasons, the leather can get a little chopped up, but that's what duct tape if for, right?

Burton Ronin Glove has been the best I've had.

OR usually has pretty tech stuff.

Dakine is solid too.

Kevlar layered so no ripping. Most durable glove, brand new company, just went up under the direction of the powder maggots. Tested and true.

More info on their site and www.powdermag.com down on the hompage article

and the best part 33 dollars until Nov. 15th!

Right now i have a columbia glove. Its not bad...but i wear another glove underneath it. A nylon one made for sweaty hands and all. It really helps and its not thick or anything. But its a hassle.

i can't believe the prices you guys are paying for gloves. somethin cool about big names that wear out? i got some that someone mentioned here somewhere for like $33 made with kevlar. they're brutal. get them on the website only so they dont have any stores marking them up for twice what they're worth.

couldn't tell you. the ones i got are fukkin schwank, not cause they look cool, cause they'll last. kevlar is tough shit. pmgearusa.com

my gloves were all on sale or free (someone lost them) I hate the Ronin glove, sent back two pairs for defects and I cant send anymore back cause they wont accept them anymore, they liquidated the ronin glove I have. gloves can be a HUGE rip off, but so can all of skiing, u just gotta know where to look

go for the Marmot Ultimate Ski Glove. Best glove EVER. Period.

you can't spell sick without ck

I can vouch for PMGearUsa.com as well, these gloves are sweeet. Kevgloves... Just got my pair yesterday and have been wearing them around the house (i know im a loser) and they are really warm! For $33 these are the best value gloves I could find. Ill post a report when I get out on the slopes

Cubano

I know da Kine makes some good stuff. But the prices kill me. I'll go with the kevlars. They're raving about them over at powdermag.com and there's some serious gearheads over there that have hooked me up a few times.

I've tried em' all. And hands down, the warmest, most durable gloves are ironicaly the least expensive. All leather work gloves. The ones with a thin liner and the strechy cuff. A little weather proofing and you have a wind-proof, breathable glove you can hike pipe with all year. No blown out thumb and index, all for less than ten bucks!

leather gloves, if you put leather conditioner they wont get wet. Basically thats my exiprience with them. Warm, very flexible, durable and waterPROOF.

Just got the PM Gear gloves in the mail Saturday. Got them in 3 days after ordering! Totally kill.

I ran the kevlar palm up and down my newly sharpened edges and no damage at all, then I ran them down a barbedwire fence like they said you could do. Unfukkingreal! It's true, these things are indestructible! Check em out: www.pmgearusa.com

just don't get bonfire.....my pair didn't even last a year before they totally stank like ass. i have some special blends mitts but only use them on below zero days. for everyday use i got a pair of dub titans for $35 on cheapsnowboards.com they do great in lots of conditions plus have a zip out fleece liner....i'm probably gonna get a pair of light duty 'pipe' gloves but not til the end of the season since that's what i used my bonfires for even though people three tables down could smell them when i took them off to eat, plus the smell of my hands as i brought food to my mouth was almost unbearable

Abba Zabba, you my only friend

ok my opinion is that dakine makes the best glove,......... its not too puffy to where u cant move yur hand......... but not skinny enough to where is really cold...... never gets wet.... alwayz toasty

spank spank

mo-rod:

i have yet to use the nylon warm glove, but I used the leather, yes leather, pipe glove out as whistler this year...they were soooo water-resistent, especially for a spring/pipe glove.

if you have the inter-loc system, you can alos take advantage of that.

check www.goode.com for the specs. if you can't find them, message me for help.

i wont drop out of high school for skiing, mom

DaKine Bronco GT.

Hands down best glove.

Neoprene closure at the wrist like a park glove.

Not too bulky ( you don't have to death grip your poles).

And Gore Tex.

They are the best gloves Ive ever had.

Warm, dry, and cut like a pipe glove.

And, they were like $70 Canadian. That's not expensive. Gloves are important. Cold hands suck.

Made in Tasmania.
