Best Airline

There are things I like about a lot of airlines.

All economy:

International

Berlin air: Gives you a lovely little sleepy kit with eye covers, ear plugs, blanket, pillow, breathmints. It's so simple but awesome.

Swiss Air: greatest food service/drink service I have ever had on a plane. Made me feel like I was in first class. Unlimited alcohol, full meals/ 2 of them. A snack in which one was a super tastey sundae. I was in heaven.

Iceland Air: super cheap, no food service but you can have up to a week long stay over in iceland free of charge. Super cool perk.

Domestic:

Alaska airlines: gives you a free alcoholic beverage and constantly have perks for their frequent flyers.

Southwest: stupid cheap and you can bring your skis on free of charge.

Jet Blue: also super cheap but I've never been on a flight without a screen in front of me and i was even on one with free internet.

lolol no fuckin chance. ac blows. flown em on 12+ hour trips twice. fucked each time

as for best ive flown... air new zealand hands down

I've always liked sun country.

IcelandAir was good also except for when they announce stuff they do it in Icelandic first and it takes FOREVER for them to say it, then they say it in english. It gets pretty annoying.

Korean Air was pretty good in my experience. Then again, most planes that are fully modern are substantially better than worn out, dated planes.

Alaska is fine and dandy - their QX flights are better since they serve free alcohol. Easy to get elite status, too. And I like that their prices aren't dependent on round trip travel.

Delta sucks ass.

this and japan's airlines. When I went to Japan and Korea we had first class and it was super nice. It was cool to because they had like these mini Japanese versions of the Wii behind every seat.

You like your seats movable in flight?

My dad works for Boeing, got to tour the 787 over a year ago, Airbus can go suck a dick.

KLM is awesome. Gave me beer when I was 16 as soon as we took off from Vancouver. Air Canada sucks dick, so does American Airlines, so does Luthansa

Air New Zealand. After a flight on Delta from Thunder Bay Ontario, to Los Angeles...... it was just pure heaven.

How are they faring through the bankruptcy? Seems like everyone's been hit with pretty big pay, benefit, and retirement cuts.

Screw JetBlue, they only fly AirBus which are made by the FRENCH.

Alaska QX flights are actually horizon air, operated by Alaska airlines. So slightly different than regular Alaska. They are both owned by the same holding company though, so it's kinda the same. As far as I know, Alaska doesn't serve free alcohol, except on select flights (I think you get a drink going to Hawaii)

atlanta sucks. I got stuck there for like a day and a half when i was 13 all alone with no money. It was a decent movie plot

i usually prefer virgin galactic when i'm trying to get to places quickly. usually to the moon, alpha centuri or cybertron, but occasionally new york.

Lan airlines is pretty awesome. Flight attendant basically hazed me on my flight from peru to the US this summer

swiss air is really sick. super friendly flight attendants. I flew from Düsseldorf to Zurich (only a 45 min flight) to celebrate a friend's bday and when the flight attendant heard that it was her birthday he gave us 7 mini bottles of wine and a full bottle of champagne. none of it was particularly delicious but it was still crazy compared to how stingy other airlines can be.

I for real pray every night that they are not going bancrupt before I go to the US with them this summer.. or that some volcano will fuck up my journey.

Well my dad is a captain at mia(757/767). He says thats he will get pay raise, but will have to work more hours in return. That being said, the low seniority pilots will be laid off, but I dont think too many will be laid off. He says it will suck for him if they merge with USair because seniority would drop a ton because the pilots there are real old.

World's Top 10 Airlines - 2012

1 QATAR AIRWAYS

2 Asiana Airlines

3 Singapore Airlines

4 Cathay Pacific Airways

5 ANA All Nippon Airways

6 Etihad Airways

7 Turkish Airlines

8 Emirates

9 Thai Airways

10 Malaysia Airlines

seems like asian airlines are doing pretty well internationally. can't compare them with american domestic airlines because i've never flown with them.

I'm sensing too little love for the oldest operating Airline, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines.

id say I enjoy flying on British Airways the most, just out of personal experience..

but the worst, and the one I fly most is the Idaho Falls to Oakland flight run by allegiant... horrible service. Plane is always late by like three hours cause the mechanic is working on the plane, and my girlfriend's plane had to make an emergency landing in Reno one time last year. But the flights only cost 40$ so i guess im not complaining too much.

KLM often has the hottest bitches (besides some old hags who do excel in their jobs.)

But what I like about KLM, their service is genuine, with the Asian airlines it all feels so fake.

I would love to fly Cathay Pacific. Operating really nice planes and since its not operated by americans, the services would be amazing

ya, I hope it works well for them too, it's been disappointing to see the decline of the pilot career.

Yeah. Its what I want to do though. Amount of pilots retiring in the coming years is going to be absurd. So its going to be another moshpit like it was after deregulation of the airlines.
