Best adult camp?

So it's summer and I have the ski bug something terrible right now. As a result I've been contemplating my options for future trips and have decided that I want to go to an adult camp when I graduate from college (spring 2010.) What's your guys' opinions on the best one out there?

there were adults at windells. it was sick, there was like a 40 year old guy who landed his first 180. he was stoked. he was learning butters too.

my dad went to the adult session at momentum...we sent him for his 50th birthday....im in my 20s and i go to the "youth" sessions.....i dont think i would ever go to an adult session unless i was like 40 or over

are there any glaciers that you can just go camp out at the bottom and buy a weekend, or do all summer ski spots require you to sign up for a "camp" that cost more money than ill ever have in my bank account for the next 10 years.

dude, just go to hood. There are mad forest service campgrounds near there that cost 20$ a night and bring your tent, one of them has showers and shit and is nice. I had an awesome time doing that. Bring a skateboard and then hit up the parks when the lifts close. It's wayyyyy cheaper than going to camps, but def go to a camp if you can afford it. Lift tickets are like 50 a day, I prob spent about 800 bucks total and that includes gas getting there, I stayed for like 7 days.

good looks! and ill never barring some miracle be able to afford a camp for my self. but, do you get hassled if you camp on non designated grounds, i can go a week w/o a shower no problem

Oh. By the way the camps described them, I always assumed the adult sessions were meant for 20-somethings. Thanks for clearing that up.

yeah yo my buddy and i did that this past june after we graduated from high school its soooo doable and soooo fun and worth it. we were there for 2 weeks and camped on one of the campgrounds for $16 a night, skied every day for like 50, and paid for gas and food and all that good stuff. all in all for a two week trip i spent about 1000 that i saved up. it was real worth it

well if you are over 19 you can go to adult camp....but its mostly an older crowd. plus i like being with the "kids" because they are fun!! and they throw down!!! but there are some perks to adult camps....they eat at better resturantes, and do better afternoon activities, thats why they cost more, and there are usually less people. it depends on what you are looking for and what dates work for you. but if you are worried that there wont be anyone your age, there are ussualy a few camps, and the diggers and coaches are usually all old enough to go out...or just go out anyway. i went to momentum sesh 5 and there was a gourp of 35-52 year old guys...there were like 7 of them i think...and they were killing it! they were all doing back flips, and 7s and switch 5s and stuff! they were awesome!

You can get into the terrain parks for $50, I had no idea about that. Do you get shit on because you're not at camp? This is looking like a real possibility, as it is seems like it would make a much better story than just going to camp.

I am 32 and have gone to High North for 3 years and Momentum last year. I would say go to a regular session as there will always be adults there anyway. Momentum's adult session is a bit funny as it is the first week and they never have all their features built (don't ask me why). Also, for someone of drinking age, Whistler is going to be a lot more fun than Hood.

Nah dude, you don't get shit on because you aren't in a camp. I just went by myself because I couldn't find anyone else to go. Just try and meet up with some other peeps and shred with them. Yea, you can get into the terrain park with the normal ticket at hood.
