yea, i havent ridden every ski this year, but i have to say that my new Ar5's are sick at everything, the ruled the park and skiied the rest of the mountain really well. i am sure they will great in the pipe with tons of pop and great egde hold. The Ar5's get my vote for park and all mountain.

i ahve been very anti line for about 4 years. i skied the orange 1260s and they were the worst excuse for a ski ever. ive skied alot of skis and i know how to ski well. and lines never appealed to me. but i got a pair of pollards and they rock the fuckin house. so my vote POLLARDS

Lines suck they delaminate alot. My shop had more delames on line skis they sold then all other skis put together. I haven't skied any of this years..... but I think I'll stick with my new AR5's. Ar5 is def. my vote for best overall ski too. Used them at Okemo they ride so nice and they definatley took care of that chipping problem.

^ t-halls are really good for rails but they aren't as good on jumps as the Ar5s. they have a different flex pattern that allows butters and tail? nosepresses to be done with ease. You will find the AR5 much harder to butter then the t-halls thats because they are stiffer so they can absorb impact on landings. If you want a ski that is the best for jibs and will do pretty good on jumps then get the t-halls if you have the money. If you want a ski that can slide rails really well and is top of the line on jumps then get Ar5's. Ar5 will ride a little better on groomers because it is stiffer. (and the dulled edges underfoot doesn't make a difference on turning ever since skis became shaped back in the early 90's, turns have been made with the tip and tail area of the ski the underfoot area still touches the snow but is not the most important area in turns.) there that should help a little.

i skiied my t-halls today and my old ar5s, i can tail slide and nose slide no problem at all now with the t-halls, they feel so nice, but my old ar5s are soft as fuck and butter like crazy, armada kickes ass this year

i actually have skied every ski on the market because i do it for a living. I would say that what ski is best for one person isn't best for another. My personal favorite skis fo the season are the cr lab, karma,trouble maker, probly pocket rocket. The problem with the armadas in my opinion is that i broke three pair last season, 4frnts are a decent ski just need a pick up in quality and they are pretty heavy and stiff. and line skis just suck they probly are the worst skis i have ever been on. but some people enjoy them so its all up to you to get ur ass out there and demo some.

There is no way to say which ski is the best. Obviously different skis are made for different things, not to mention the skiier drastically affects how the ski is. You also have to take into account things like price. It also comes down to personal taste. In my opinion the best park ski would be something soft and forgiving. Someone else might say that stiffer park skis are better.

volkl and armada will be top dogs next year they have such sweet skis comin out. sumos will own the bc bein the widest twin I believe.. the new karmas o my god. armada hasnt released info on their new skis but I talked to someone who has seen them handled them. he could tell me about them but he said hes seen all the 06 skis and armada is def one of the top if not the best. havent heard anything bout 4frnts they need to have more skis though line has like 10 twins.
